'Twas High Noon in Bomboria Proper, with much hustling and bustling in the Marketplace, people buying an apple here, a raccon skin hat there, and finding a great bargain on that stuffed vodoo doll they've had their eye on. A group of four shadowy figures emerged from the crossroads, and each waited at one of the cardinal entrances to the city of Bomboria. The Western figure, wearing a brilliant robe of black, fringed in gold and crimson red, walked forward, slowly dropping his hood to reveal disheveled chestnut hair and a beard to match.
"Listen now and listen well. I come to announce the Lord and Soverign of the Great Kingdom of Malenth! All those seeking employ in the lands of our great domain, know that they are ruled by King Herron Shade, better known to commeners as Signas," he said, and then turned to the West, a battered sheath clanging at his side with each step against the metal armor that hid beneath his cloak. The other three simply stood there, none appearing the same, each with different colors and qualities of clothing.

Oi vay. Amagius likes to live in a dillusional world where he had a chance against Obsydyon- lol. Still, Bellasera is a hard kingdom to pick a King for.

Well.. I am pretty sure the king or leader of kaitou is gonna be Kae... The king of Zorbi is gonna be Nappa probably, the king of Malenth is gonna be Tseng or someone that used to be very loyal to Dustari and the "king" of Ballasera should probably be a woman and instead of her being queen she should be governess because it sounds like more like it is a democratic place than a kingdom.

Nappa didn't lead Zorbi very well last time. No offense or anything. But he broke every single RP Rule ever set by man kind.

That doesn't mean anything. People get staff positions on graal by either sucking up or being friends with managment... Do you really think that people get jobs because of talent?

Yes... It does. If I were to log onto classic right now and start to curse everyone out because I felt like it I would definatly not be getting anything on other servers. People will play 2k1 since it's classic now and if people from Era come on and see that Signas is the leader they will be like "Holy ****... It's that guy that sexually harrased me. I don't wanna play this ****ty server". I'm pretty sure that you guys want people to PLAY the server not leave it.

Signas was one of the people who developed Malenth. So you haven't seen him online because it's a four room waiting area? Shocker. -_-

I have been on a lot of servers and almost never see him on. I don't see him post either. I have been reading the boards for months and haven't seen him post in a long time. Tseng specifically said that just because you makea kingdom doesn't mean you will be king.

He dosen't have forum access, and he's been working on levels for Malenth.

Valder. He's making the levels because he wants to. He helped come up with it, thusly he wants to develop what he came up with. He, ironicly, is also the King who can best lead Malenth. So don't make such bold assumptions, Valder. With an attitude like that I can see why Tseng would never give you RC.

What makes him the best king for Malenth? Because he thinks so? Because he came up with the idea? Because you said so? No.

You shouldn't be so stupid. This is an argument. It in no way has any impact of the way I do a job. Just because I am arguing with you doesn't mean that I am like this around everyone. Sure, I argue a lot, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't get a job on a server because someone doesn't like me. I have absoluely no problem with Tseng. He can be an ass sometimes, but that can be said about most people.

So what? Asuka created dustari, but that didn't mean he was the best king of dustari. In fact, Zulithe was the best king of Dustari.

So. The fact of the matter is, Asuka established Dustari. This created a legacy he could pass on, and while each King brought something new to Dustari, it still remained Dustari in the sense of a common style.

So you are admitting that it is basically Dustari with new levels and a new name?

No. It's a little something called a comparison. As in comparing Malenth to Dustari.

This isn't a flame war, this is an argument, if they started shouting insults at eachother, then it'd be a flame war.

I'd have a list here about how I think what's going on, but Tseng wouldn't like it and he'd yell at me, so I'm just going to bite my tongue.

Honestly, I'm willing to give Signas a chance. He was a decent roleplayer at times and there is no use in arguing because it's obvious he is the king. As for the others, hopefully they are active, roleplay, and sign up people who know how to roleplay. That's all I ask for, I don't want kingdoms turning into a whoever has the most people wins contest (which by the way doesn't work.)

That made no sense Gryffon. Just read above. Signas is in no position to even be ON GRAAL. Nor do I see why you support him.

He isn't a good roleplayer, he never was.

And yeah... I can just see it now. If SIGNAS makes it then everyone's *****es are going to be hanging out while they have *****s who are naked and they harass them.

It's not your desicion what happens anyway. Another problem is the fact that 2k1 is now classic and a lot of people have been wanting to play it and most probably don't know how to roleplay. It's good to teach them, but good roleplaying comes with experience...

Very true, which means you need good roleplayers at the top to teach and guide them. Now that you bring it into that perspective I understand your argument about Signas.

He cant roleplay. He babbles like an idiot, doesn't listen to orders, and he's a mockery to the Graal terms of use.

If you dont want to read it all... it's pretty much him saying he holds all justic and he can pardon himself, that our pm history magically appeared after he searched so hard. That he claims I forge crap, and that what he did was a mistake

Personally I have never really seen Signas roleplay so I can't really say much about him in that department. It seems to me that in that conversation he is trying to brush off what he did and claims that he "paid" for what he did...

Zurkiba, why not wait and see? Obviously you have not had much experience with Signas, to believe that he is incapable of leading the kingdom.

And, I did say that creating a kingdom would not necessarily mean that you would get to be its king.

Gryffon made a mistake in posting this information now, as I was going to author reasons why they were chosen. However, he did, and I can't change the past (yet), so I can only deal with the problems which arose from that.

Signas is the most fit to lead Malenth. He created a kingdom that is such a way that he is best to lead it. I don't know if that was his intention, or it just ended up that way, but again, from the kingdom idea (which not only received a unanimous vote but was the first kingdom to pass the second cut + be set in stone), he is the most capable to lead it.

Again, I asked that this topic stopped degenerating into a so-and-so-is-bad-heres-why type of thread, and this topic accomplished its objective - it announced one of the kingdom leaders (though prematurely). Topic closed.
