Here's one ingame (since all the lighteffects and whatnot hide with alt+1 x.x)

I kinda like :D New style, i'd say 6/10 Good Job

Shaun 08-03-2003 08:08 PM

6.5/10

Nice level.

I don't understand the randomness of the castle tiles (houses are not suppossed to be random, outsides on the other hand are. Houses represent order). Also, there are a couple of tile errors. The Character is taller than the walls too.

Crono 08-03-2003 08:11 PM

Can you tell me the tile errors?

Myomoto 08-03-2003 08:29 PM

one word, NICE! 8/10! :D

Yes

Do you see where the pubtops come out from "under" the others?

Both are the same height, so they wouldn't be able to go under or over another like that... Kinda hard to explain.

Crono 08-03-2003 09:49 PM

Try to copy paste the image to paint and circle the error(s)

zs0 08-03-2003 10:53 PM

I've always sorta liked your levels Crono! :D.. 9/10

No

This:

See Attached Image

Also, the level is crammed to one side of the blackness. It should be more central

Ok I need more ways of improving it..people just rated it without telling me how to improve *coughs*

All the ****let cadets get to have people like Eruic and Spark tell them how to improve :(! What about me ;_;!

Spark910 08-08-2003 01:44 PM

I´ll go off the last image you posted!

House
Okay the shape of the house is good. I like the little pillar type things, however it still looks plain. To me this looks like a graal2001 level. So maybe some of those tree vines. If not, make the shape more interesting with a side room maybe.

Floor
Florr is good. I like the gold on the red. However, I would have done a bit more with the floor. Maybe a few dirt specs, or something to break up the same pattern. Maybe... hm.. castle stairs floor top thingy.

Objects
I think the whole level would be better if you added less NPCs and more objects from tiles. Have a look what there is. Tiles can often look better as they fill the level more.

Overall
Overall its good. Its too hot to think here in spain! And its brief as I have 7mins left on the clock on my internet cafe time =(

So improove it by adding more tiles objects. Look at the shape and the floor again. And then I think its all okay. btw nice pattern on the floor.

Sorry for reviving the post but I made a minor update. (mainly effects)

I still need to figure out how to make this better. @_@

I didn't know what kind of tile objects to add, as spark said, so I'll do that next. As for the floor, I might need to re-do some of it...x_x

Curt1zzle 09-16-2003 02:28 AM

Nice level, it's orriginal and nearly realistic (If it weren't for those crazy random tiles). I like it , so ill give you a 7/10

FreezeBurnX 09-17-2003 01:21 AM

6/10... Good, could be a bit bigger, and a bit more of detailing at cornes tiles... they are ugly

TheStivi 09-24-2003 04:56 PM

nice job :)
7/10

its a really new style never seen before :)
