Logging Off: Trading Tables

Today I made the mistake of attempting to play Graal Kingdoms on my mom's 56k (which runs like a 28k) and I ended up crashing in the middle of a trade when I had 2 items on the trade tables. It should be rescripted to use the red flag action when the player logs off. I only lost a vicious axe of Ogma +4 and a composite bow of Ogma +2 when I did this, but people could take advantage of this script in...scamming. :megaeek:

How? Unless you deliberately crash another person, in which neither party gains anything.

"yoy0 man i figered out how to duplicate items u just put your items on the tables, log off, come back on and they'll be in your inventory AND on the table!@"

And yes, it is possible to get all the way to the center of the tables, I pushed Razael while he pushes against me and he managed to get on it, snagging my axe.

I made this same mistake and lost a talisman a Ammy of Armor +20 and somthing else.
They should script it to take you AND YOUR ITEMS off the tables when you log off.

"Us?" I don't believe anyone mentioned you. I'm also very sorry I do not have a perfect computer. Also, I recommend a forum spellcheck be added, just for you. :)

AL CAPOWNED

Anyway, stop being jerks. It's not that big a deal. EVERYBODY disconnects now and then. Don't come crying to us once this happens and they haven't done it yet. Otherwise I'll just say "Told you so."

Look up at the top of the forum for me. Graal Communication Center (Reserved for gold and vip subscribers) > Graal2002 Forums > 2002 BUGS.

One last thing. Yes, this would be hard to abuse in scamming, but people could still greif.
