Illegal head on Era
 

I logged into the server and noticed a player using this head ;\

That guy doesn't even look like Wario, he's just a drunk with a yellow hat on with a W on it, maybe a Football team.

Yes well bloo kat has also made shy guy heads for UN also and there was a link head on deltria. I talked Houdinia dude about it and he said that it looked different enough so I'm guessing that the same gos for this.

It may look a little different, but you could easily tell it's Wario, so I think it's illegal :\

Guys, unless it's obviously ripped from a game then there's no reason to do anything about it. Concept art, you know. It's not called Wario, it doesn't resemble any pictures I've seen of Wario, so it's too subjective to base a case upon.

I believe there are offical Graal heads (like head###.png) that imitate the looks of Mario and Luigi though...so... :|

But since it's obviously based on a character that belongs to Nintendo...

The funny thing is, it's obvious they are making the heads look like these copyrighted characters. Maybe your arguement would hold up if they didn't NAME THE FREAKIN HEADS AS THE COPYRIGHTED CHARACTER. :p

The PWA is readily contactable and you're not supposed to make threads like this on the forums, i'll look into it though.

Why dont we ask Nintendo if its ok? If they dont care why should we? I'm sure someone has probably contacted nintendo about this thosands of times they cant stop everyone from making wario and mario stuff it would be impossable.

Um, no, but this is a p2p game. There are images of copyrighted characters that people are using for their enjoyment in the game. That means that Nintendo would not be happy. It's impossible to stop all illegal useage of copyrighted characters, but that doesn't give Graal an excuse to allow it. It's easily controllable as long as the pwa watches what graphics are on what servers.

All they would need is to post a notice that those heads need to be removed, and if the pw doesn't remove them, they will be in trouble. Then they can just check back in a week and if the graphics are still there, they can handle the situation.

I'm pretty sure the responsibility is that of the PWA, so if that's the case, they need to be handling this stuff.

Yes, thats a great idea! Lets walk up to our good friend Nintendo and say, "Duh, can we keep these heads that were based on the concept of the characters you created?". Yes....A fine idea indeed.

I dont think Nintendo would care any more. They cared back then when we were 2D but thats only because they were 2D also (SNES) and they didnt want Graal stealing all there players. Graal isnt 3D like Nintindo is now, and there is no big threat to them. I bet they dont even know what Graal is any more lol.

I don't think most people even consider Graal a GAME anymore.

They either get wrapped around it and forget reality,
