yo i used to be the 8th best in WarZoneAlpha (infantry zone)

before i started Slayers...i come back and i am suck

i used to play WZA all the time, i am planning to come back to infantry when WZA is back up. i played it when harmless games was the owner. now that sony is the owner, WZA is down. i played CTF 2 for a bit, but it got boring. then when CTF with private teams came out i played that for about a month.

i started in sept99

my name when i was 8th was Araym

but now i use Jinn, since when Sony bought it, the person who previously had the name Jinn in Infantry didnt register it..yet..

Sony sucks as owner, it lags more and now WZA =(

All this talk about Infantry is making me want to play it again,I haven't in so long. =(
And subspace...

i didnt like subspace that much..but it was out before Infantry i played it..maybe for a month

I suck at infantry though,I would get massacred.(sp?)

INF is much easier to control (i hate gliding around, unless i want to get in a vehicle to do that)

in SS, i just ran around bounced off things and shot all day...i tried to fire bombs in enclosed spaces =\

For my education, how is Infantry controlled?

I've played once, didn't like it much though.

over head game..

traditionally
arrows keys
up=forward
left=turn left
right=turn right
down=back

then you should set your fire keys, otherwise you have ctrl, alt, tab, F5-F8 =\
(you can get a lot of guns/mines/packs/armor to use, so you need all the keys...you can have 16 fire keys)

but now you can use mouse..which is *** and for newbies

Have you ever played the original Army Men for PC? It's a bit like that.
You push up,and you move up,same with down etc. a combination would be for diaganol.
Shooting is (I think) ctrl,and tou switch weapons using the number buttons.

yea, but infantry was first, so GTA is like INF

Yes,I personally like it...But some people find it hard to get used to...

did you set your fire keys?

mine are set to
qwertyuio
asdf
zxcv

thats pretty convienient cause i use yuio for toggling things (armor, energy items, shield packs)

qwer for mines, grenades, weapon items

asdf for my guns

zxcv teleporting items and weapon items and toggles

Aedion is more like Diablo II but adapted to the shoot-em-up setting.

Perhaps, but not particularly often.

i use my CS settings in it. i use the mouse for turning and left and right buttons for strafe.
