The dropping when you die is damaged.
Apehex dropped a evil bomy lord helmet +4 and i lost a cube.
Stefan should check it and restore us our stuff =(( its gone now.

I dropped my cause critical wounds prayerbook when I died, and I have yet to find it. If you have it, you are lucky. :o

Did you have money with you when you died? Enough money, that is, I think from 20-60 plats? As far as I know, you drop coins forst, then, when you're low, gems (including diamonds) and eventually normal items. The first time I (flooishhearted) went into the dungeon to get myself ripped by wolves, I lost a few hundred plats and then dropped items, incluting my saddle, which made me go back 5 times to get it back out alive °°.

I had no cash with me.

You should always carry cash on you incase you die, it's better than losing your low-cost items. (it's not what you think is rare, it's how much it sells for in a shop) Last time I watched someone die they dropped 12 diamonds, and he was lucky enough to get his diamonds back.

ah I thought it chose something random, but mostly cash... heaven forbid that I drop this clockwork before I get my stat potion X-x

chris gave it back to me 1st time, 2nd i got it back, 3rd someone in my kingdom was supposed to give it back, but i havent gotten it over the past 2 weeks so im not worried about it anymore

I don't think you should be able to drop ANYTHING but money and gems.
Its making it where you can't even carry around normal things that you need to have without worrying about dropping them x_x

If nothing is dropped but money, those who carry around unsold dievil hearts are invincible....so, no. But you should only die for doing something suicidal, not just for being unlucky. Taking on a L5 dungeon at Level 5 is stupid and you deserve what you get. Getting flaming aurad by a horserider is unlucky, and you shouldn't pay for it. Dungeoncrawling's risky, plan accordingly children. Be happy it's not still 600p per Life Potion instead.

For doing something suicidal? So when you're new to graal and attack the weakest enemy's i guess you're stupid?

How is it stupid to attack the weakest enemy, when you're the weakest that you are going to be?
Besides, there are other ways to gain experience.

What?! How do life potions work?! Do they heal you automatically when you hit 0?! Or do you just have to manually use them to heal? X_x

Originally, you lose a stat permanently every time you die and have to buy a Potion of Life for 600p to get it restored. "Or you can just pray for it for free"...if you're a priest who worships a god with the Restoration domain, everyone else is screwed. You also lose about 10% of your experience, usually enough to drop you down a level...but your actual Level doesn't go down, you just lose all the related stats and can't get it back. Ever.

This way's a lot better. Even when you drop expensive stuff, you're not forced to reset or be doomed forever.

Well, actually, this made piety more important. I remember I would make sure to start with piety. Couldn't you pray to get EXP back also?

Is it that hard to hit and run now? I never had a problem, even when physically attacking with a priest.

I got my first diamond blade on start island when Angel dropped it after dying :D

She was sooo mad. I thought it was a really awesome weapon since people told me it did the most damage in the game and she was also uber-mad.

Hm... There should be a penalty for dieing if you do it for suicidal reasons, but then again, how to distinguish that... I certainly don't like the idea of losing exp and stats for dieing, and I'd hate losing that much if I died while being afk or got lagged.
