Graal 3D... Tribes 2...?
 

A while back, unixmad said Graal 3D was being built on the Tribes 2 engine... While looking at a friend's old copy of PC Gamer, (the same one that has Graal java listed as the 19th best free game [March 2003]) I noticed there was a program being sold by Garage Gamers that built the Tribes 2 engine. It was being sold for $100. Does that mean Graal 3D only cost $100 to make? o_O

To license the engine, yes. However, Torque does not come with a fully featured game out of the box, it takes time to develop.

I understand that. I was led to believe the engine cost Cyberjoueurs a lot of money to purchase. x_x

I think it may, but playing people to make the graphics and stuff will cost them alot.

The screenshots showed textures that probably came with the program. They didn't seem original at all. ;x

That, and they probabally won't pay them.

I dont think its the money.... I think its the time they have, Stefan is up to the walls with stuff to do and same with unixmad.

IT is currently 400x400 pixels. All you have to do is cut off 100 pixels from the length :) .
