Too many stickies!!!
 

Ahhhh! Now there are seven stickies on the main forum! You can barely even tell where user posts begin anymore. :( A mod/admin needs to unsticky the less important/old stickies already, it's clogging up the main forum.

This thread can be deleted once something is done about all the stickies, or I'll just delete it myself if something is done.

On another note, all the stickies having to do with playerworlds should be in the playerworld forums, and the "Rules about hackers" post that unix made, should be in the forum announcements.

I vote we stick this thread, who's with me?

I made complaints about this very topic about 6-8 months ago and got my arse chewed by Alkaren for it. :|

They do need to rethink these stickies and get rid of that stupid announcments forum that is never used!

Stickies often get enough replies and attention so that they do not have to be a sticky. I also agree there are too many, for example in the PW forum:

Sticky: Playerworld information yet again.. ( 1 2 3 4 ... Last page )
Sticky: Server-Options & Scripting-Team ( 1 2 3 )

We all know about it now, while yes I suppose in some discussion could still carry on (But for the most part they have done what they are supposed to do) it doesnt need to be a sticky to do so.

And in the PW forum where most posts are 2-3pages, it looks a big mess :(

Some people change their options to display more or less posts per page.

Okay, but point being, there are enough posts in there to keep it at the top.

I dont know why they dont just delete that announcements thing.They never use it. -_-

I agree that some should be moved to the Announcements section, but my opinion doesn't override Unixmad's.

Or, as Lyndzey wants, make a FAQ section. It would be to ask questions, so this main forums wouldnt be blocked, and annoucnments could go there too. And by FAQ she wants a graal FAQ not limiting to just 2002.

That actually sounds like a good idea.Maybe we could try that out for a while,and see how people like it.
