RichEdit line insertion error
 

Okay,
When i press start for graal, and it's loading the servers, it loads the servers but then it pops up this 'RichEdit Line insertion Error' What is this?

I can do quests and my graal works fine, except, I can get messages, yet I can't message back and the error window pops up when I try to message back. Also when I try to look at people's profiles, the window pops up. Does anybody have a clue what this is? And if you do, how can I get rid of it? :confused:

Sounds like it's having trouble loading the library for the editable text boxes. What version and for what platform?

I have heard of some old Visual Basic that was messing up the richedit32.dll, normally it should be fixed by replacing it with a good version, don't know other ways to fix it, possibly use v3

I was reading about gettin v3 but during setup it will only choose 2.1.9-1, and 2.1.8-1 or whatever.

Plus, I've redownloaded graal numerous times, the error still comes up...

No one seems to realize that there is more in that setup than the basic levels, exe, and other files in the main pack. Look on the bottom and you will see the section that installs music, RC, and Graal v3.01.

Well.. I installed v3...same error. Even if I reformatted my computer, do you think it would still have the same thing?
And I don't mean reformatting just for graal, I need to clean this bloody thing anyways. Heh.

The problem is the richedit32.dll in the windows folder or windows/system, Graal can't do a lot then, until you replace it with a good version.

hmm well iv had the same problem i just now tryed that i STILL have the error now what?
