Grass Tutorial
Grass tutorial made by: Tyrial.
Note: Didn't take time on the grass, so don't complain lol. http://www.adiarde.riptix.com/graal/untitled2.PNG Step 1: First, choose a dark-green outline color. Then make some straws, copy paste to random places. Step 2: Fill in the empty spaces with the same color, make the filling look like straws. Step 3: Get a lighter color and fill the white part with it. Step 4: Get another lighter color, and fill the TOPs of the straws with it. Step 5: Get another lighter color, and DOTT the last 1-2 pixels in the top of the straw. Step 6: Congratulations, you have grass! |
That's pretty good.
But it'll look repetative, or should look repetative x.X There is another way, and that's just filling in a 16X16 square and then use "Grain" filter on it |
yeah i tried that once all im gonna say is....ewww

Original yes, good looking negative. =| You use the brightest color like it's going out of style, and it looks really bad. As far as I can tell, it looks like 4 colors spray painted together.
|
It looks fine to me. Although it doesn't wrap around perfectly, so you can see the edges of the tiles.
|
:O That was a nice little one!
And as Kai said, but it can be fixed :P |
Im reviving this because I think it's a good tutorial.
