Ideas like that everyone had..
Probably the next version will be in c++ to allow other systems (linux,mac..).
one think that I really think that should be, is when someone say your nick, it could make a sound, flash or something..

My opinion:

Script error checker: Yes,i agree,this has been suggested many times.
Buddy List:I think its not needed,RC is a work stuff.
Recent Files List: I dont know,maybe not needed. x.x
Remove Transparent as a Color Selection:Yes,i agree.
In-RC Text Editor, Image Viewer, and HTML Browser:Yea,i agree too.

for the html browser, you *should* only need to double click it in the file manager, it should open with your default html program o.o

Yes, but wouldn't it be much more convenient to just open it in RC instead of having to go through the splash screens in Mozilla and Netscape if you use those? :D

:( I remember the breif times when transparent actually worked, mostly becouse I suggested it. Needed something to match head116.gif

Or more importantly, a cloaking feature so players don't whine when busy scripters don't do FAQ duty et cetera.

Actually, to avoid abuse that would be a creat option in player attributes, "cloaked" of course that would mean you couldn't do anything but walk around. maybe talk.

Script Error Checker - When working with NC in RC, with classes, weapons, and NPC's, there should be a test button. Sometimes a script doesn't work and it's only because of a missing bracket or something

Buddy List - Who says RC users don't have buddies
-rc is a work tool, not a chat tool, this should NOT be added

Recent Files List - Used to reopen files you may have opened in the FTP
-just click on the modified tab, it'll put the most recent files uploaded on top

Remove Transparent as a Color Selection - When editing a player's look. Transparent is no longer supported
-id rather have transparent color readded x.x

In-RC Text Editor, Image Viewer, and HTML Browser - Pretty much self explanatory. Some servers have html files in staffdocs to keep staff organized, etc.
-useless, if i have a txt file set to open wordpad and i double click on it on rc, itll open up the txt in wordpad, if i click save, it'll reupload back into the ftp

and Jeff, you don't have to answer PMs x_X

Some of those take too long for me, I love speed and convenience.

it doesnt even take a second to click the modified tab

and for just opening it with the current ftp which opens a new window, it would be the exact SAME speed as it would be if the windows were built into the ftp, not counting the half second it takes to open the window and the half second it takes to close it

If staff could ignore pms by "cloaking" then nothing would be answered and players would get mad n' stuff.

If you guys couldn't tell, there is already a "cloaking" ability, but obviously it's been made for certain globals only for a reason. (it's called Invisible on Playerlist) I agree, it'd be abused and no questions would ever be answered...

It does not exist - it was never coded. It is simply left there, greyed out and all, for fun.

Script error...to solve chek online?and double check your script.
rc isnt really for chatting with buddies but i dont see how it could hurt.

Also add: Last PM msg at top. So you can see what was said, like in client.

Also, have a window that shows all the commands like say2 and crap like in training for those people who hate going back and forth from training to RC :)
