Cynical is no longer under construction
 

I am left as Manager of Cynical and I am supposed to restore it with the "old" Cynical map and stuff, so that is what i'm doing.

I won't be needing any staff for now, possably a scripter or so soon, but I am just making this thread to inform you all Cynical is not dead. :)

Great. Cynical was a really cool server. I'm surprised it went down so quick, it was doing great and I'm not sure if any improvement was really needed. It's kinda depressing seeing BoOj step down from management though, he worked all that time developing Cynical and now he doesn't get the chance to enjoy it...oh well, good luck on the server.

Thats the thing, Bo0j might be comming back.

I have posted in the correct place for people to see it. Although because I have little communication with Stefan, which I see as slightly stupid, I can not promise anything quick.

Anyhow, nice to see you back.

BoOj is helping me with levels on SL, he just went on a week long vacation yesterday o.O I liked the modern day map that was made, oh well, good luck.

Well, I was informed two days ago that I can't contune redoing the server, so I have to use the old map. But, don't worry. Updates and imporvments will be added.

I hope to see Cynical back up soon :D

That's stupid...Why wouldnt you be able to make things the way yo want? Your the manager:rolleyes:

Well, it would also be stupid if every manager did that, then you wouldn't have any server to play for months.

I guess I thought you ment make a small update or redo a certain thing.It would be bad if every manager did that.

Cant you just, leave a server in its old state while you update then upload everything, that way there is little or no downtime? Of course you could end up like N-Pulse and never add any updates while your server slowly slips into the dust...

while i was NPC Admin there,i made a good work,added cool npcs etc..i think i could be a good manager,but there are 2 managers there now,i hope they do a good work,i like Cynical. =)

I quit as Co Manager of Gaia long time ago.
I already posted that on Gaia forums ^_^.
I'm just a helper there now.

Yen (working with me on Cynical) told me some of Cynical's npcs were stolen, mabey you could help me out osrs, and tell me what ones. :rolleyes:

All npcs that i added for Cynical are made by myself.

I dont know if Spark was gonna post about this,but the new managers of Cynical are I and Booj.
Excalibur quit because probably he wasn't gonna pay the server,dunno..ask him why.

As for Cynical I actually logged on for the first time. After running around for an hour and a half and finding no quests I logged off and went to a different server. You guys need alot more quests. (preferably quests that dont start in houses but in actual forests or caves and stuff) This server would definatly be alot better with some "quality" quests. Not those dumb pot mazes you see every where.

I offered to help RT with levels, I did a few things, logged on, and I had nc. I knew something was up, so I check my rights and I was Manager. He didn't have the time for Cynical and gave it to me. sure I was happy, but I am not paying no billionz dollars to keep Cynical alive. :o
So I gave it to Bo0j and osrs. :)

..and we are working hard to finish some levels asap. :)
Some new systems are being added too.

Well I hope they have lots of new things, as they have been UC for a long period of time.

Thats our problem,Cynical have been UC for a long time and nobody was working...
Now we have to be fast and fix everything..^_^'

Yeah well you all gotta pay soon, so yup time is vital.

Yes, we are doing a great job fixing everything up, from NPCs to levels. If you want to go on you may just behave :)
