Why would you make Dragoons in a Protoss vs Protoss game? They do 10 damage to zealots, wee. One zealot can beat one Dragoon. And Zealots attack faster. And don't waste time on scouts freekz.


Use dragoons early on for important things, like taking down Terran wallins out of range of marines (before they get tanks of course). Then lure the marines out to a mass of zealots wee.

=p It's SC not BW you dont have many options with microing you can do alot there fai.....

Yeah microing with dragoons is fun. But if I forget to scout I usually screw up and I can't own their wallins before they get tanks. :( But in PvP, You'd be stupid to wallin, and the only thing they are good for is incase of air, and taking down buildings because of full 20 damage.

i feel dumb asking this, but what is meant by mircoing?

Micro Mangement it's like using a small amount of units and controling them to kill more units

*smacks self on head* duh...i have done something like that before, but never really thought of it in that terminology

I'm bad at StarCraft, but I'm pretty good at Age of Empires 2.

I do some microing when i play, just i use a ton of guys when i do it. Concentrated fire will kill anything really fast.

I used to play SC and BW but they both got really boring. I haven't played in a while now.
I remember back when I was really little I would play Dune II. I had to start the game through Dos because Windows 3.1 was so shitty.

Microing would be like...

If a person's starting base is on a platform, and they are terran, and wall in with a barracks and 2 SDs, and have marines behind that, you use a dragoon or 2 from bottom of ramp to shoot at their barracks. Since the marines can't hit the dragoons from behind the barracks, they come out and then you move your dragoons back into a group of zealots, so the marines can't do anything without dying.

And then theres macroing where you use lots of units alieifnief like that yeah.

pheh....i just like getting fleets of carriers and attacking :D

that is the most fun....cause lots of stuff blows up :cool:

If you go directly to carriers you are screwed. One carrier can be beaten by a few hydras. And by the time you get one carrier, they can have about like 40 hydras.

duh....i know that....but on a fast build map...its really fun :D

funny how Rcrossbone knew where shadrock was on his first guess, when there were 7 possible spots. he seemed so sure that shadrock was in that spot when he started getting guys there, and it didn't even look like he scouted that spot. can we say maphack?

hehe...unless shared vision is on for one player, he shouldnt be able to see him....but then again...that map hack theory is quite plausible
