Payment for Improved Weapons >=|
OK i have like.. Five improved weapons that i dont use at home. Becaues i was one of the first people to figure out how to improve more than one time (Everyone was using only one diamond at the time) and then figuring out the secret behind how many diamonds to use (the number of slots you want squared)
So anyway i have a crap load of these weapons at home, that i dont even friggin use, but cost me around 4k each to make At least. I would like some way. to sell these pices of crap and get at least half my money back >=\ thats all.. |
Yah, i have a few weapons that i dont use anymore, i wana be able to sell them for at least 1 or 2k.
|
You should've just made a strong weapon with as many slots as possible, rather than keep making weapons based on how many slots you can currently hold.

Ghost, I was gonna mention that, but chances are...it's gonna start an arguement with him and stuff, and it's annoying.

I suppose I did you a favor then. |
Prepareable weapons should be able to be dismantled without spending 150 plat and getting nothing back but a unenchanted weapon. I mean, we spend countless amounts of time gathering the diamonds and money, and even more time just waiting for the scrolls in stores, and we get nothing back when we get too strong for the weapons or we make a mistake.
You should not only get the weapon back, but the diamonds and scrolls. I want to do a new weapon, I can't handle a dagger, I am not used to it. So now I have to gather another 169 or whatever diamonds and 13 IWDs and a prepare weapon scroll. -_- |
I've no mercy for those richer than I.
|
Tyhm, one time you might become rich, and powerful, and then you might want this same stuff, but hey, I doubt you'll ever care about powergaming, right?
|
Powergaming, Munchkinning, Minimaxing or (ironically) redmaging is the antithesis of RPing. One cannot simultaneously focus on being the highest-level knight with the most IWDs on his dagger and RP properly; kings don't dungeoncrawl and princes don't mine in a proper RP.
A vocal minority can afford an IWD on G2K2. A yet louder and smaller group can afford enough to accidentally waste them on weapons they later want unimproved. The fact that you people can afford 50 IWDs is grounds enough for me to say you don't deserve to get them back. >_< |
If you want to get more money out of it then BLESS it! Thats how I figured out how to get more money.
|
Tyhm, I spent all my money as a newer player to IWD my weapon a lot, only to clean it later because of the wrong enchantment on it, and some other things, truly, you'd expect me to be on the other side of this arguement, right? Well, I'm not, I've learned to cope with it, and really, you can imagine my powergaming as "RPing" (I'm Chancellor of Zormite, but due to my background and such, I'm trying to be as powerful of a warrior as possible for my kingdom.) truly, I don't see my powergaming as RPing, but if I wanted to, I could hide behind a weak arguement until it blows over, but I won't, I won't hide anything. Yes, I do powergame, but I'm aiming at a certain level, and after that, RPing. I'm sorta close to there...

How is spending money on a useless weapon any different from wasting money on failed spell after failed spell? Either way, you're out the money, and have nothing to show for it. Face it, you're stuck with it.

You can say that if you wish..but it's better to actually explain why you mentioned it.

Actually, when saying "no-reproducable" he meant the weapons, like inferno swords, the hammers, etc, not the items that you put on it.

I think there should be a way to "disolve" prepped weapons into the cleared weapon and the scrolls and diamonds spent on it - but with a failure, like alchemy, make it that you put the weapon in and get your stuff - with a chance depending on your skills and levels that you'll lose a few scrolls, the diamonds or even the weapon itself... so if someone doesn't want to take the risk they can clear the weapon in the pool and lose all their stuff applied on it.
|
Satrek, that was the base idea behind the pool of pure elements, but Stefan didn't add that part, because he thought it to be unfair.
