Playerkilling Question
 

*whew, take a breather, this is a long post lol*

Okay guys, to all of you playerkillers out there, I have an interesting question. Why is it, that when you kill someone, you feel that it's justified and it should just end with that?

I mean look, here's what happened just a few moments ago. I was minding my own business in the Hotaru shop, when all of the sudden, Selzar comes in and starts attacking me. I retaliate, and manage to get him down to a SLIVER of health. He then proceeds to run out the door, and I of course, chase after him, only to find him using the lamest tricks in the book, in order to kill me.

He waits for me outside, then casts cause critical wounds on me. This takes my health down quite a lot, and he then tries to attack me some more. After a few minutes, he gets me down to barely any health, and then shoots a large bullet at me, it catches up with me, and I die. Now this was the first attack. I had done nothing to provoke him attacking me, but after it was done, I came back to the Hotaru shop, and attacked him.

He responds by saying "wtf why are you attacking me?" like I'm supposed to just forget that he JUST killed me. I don't understand this. Why do pkers think that the person won't come back and try to kill them? He even messaged me saying "I got your money and the victory" or something. I just came back to the shop and attacked him. I managed to kill his slippery self, and he comes back again. I think I kill him again there... and then I unstick.

I go to the post office, and look who comes in not moments later, but SELZAR! He starts to attack me again, but I end up running outside and avoiding his lame spells. I kill him again, and he gets warped to bogenera. I wait at the unstick me, and kill him a couple of times as he keeps unsticking himself right into my war axe.

Now, after all that is done, I've killed him about 4-5 times, he killed me once initially. Now what is the point of him killing me, and why does he think I'm not supposed to attack him like a wild dog afterwards? He's all "don't take it so seriously". I don't. I could care less about losing 20 plat, but if you kill me, I'm going to try and kill you back. The only person taking it serious here is him, who is so bent on not losing some plat, that he will run from the room when I've got him down to a sliver of health, so he can plan his lag spell attacks outside.

I just want some answers, because it really bothers me that people can't get along on GK. I especially don't like it when level 30 guys go bullying low level people because they are so much stronger than everyone else. Like "omg don't hurt my friend or you will regret it". *cough boukon cough*

Now Selzar has run away from me on his horse, and he put me on ignore after the first time I killed him. Who is taking this too seriously again? :p It's like throwing rocks at a big ferocious animal in a cage, and then being shocked when it breaks out and attacks you. DUH?

Anyone else have some funny tales of playerkilling? :p

i don't really have any storys, but i find it odd that after you kill someone they call you a **** but then they come back, kill you and say LEL **** OWNED, so they are calling you a **** for killing them and calling you a **** for being killed?
makes no sence!


(please unblock that word, if anything it should be blocked ingame, not on the fourms ;x, no one barley ever calls other people that on the fourms, so it just messes people up when they are trying to tell a story :[)

Well, my story isn't very amusing or long like yours but I'll tell it anyways.

One day I came out of a dungeon to rest, and regain health. I get up from my computer and go to get something. Two minutes later I come back to my computer to see some guy killing me over and over and over. I lost almost all my platinum from that, too.

It was my fault though, because I was careless and didn't think that someone would kill me after being gone for just a few minutes.

*chuckles* Oh well, I learn from my mistakes. I definately learned my lesson that day. From now on I am on peaceful mode, until I am strong enough to defend my self from the playerkillers.

Selzar is such a fool. He tries to kill everyone at every opportunity. He won't leave you alone, now .. (unless he continuously fails to kill you)

I don't really have any PK stories, heh .. except that I get PKed, and sometimes I PK back. Only times I PK unprovoked is if I'm really peeved, and that's usually because of PKers or *****s (hey that overlaps!).

Poor Vahn. I can kill him with a dagger. :)

I have two:
One, I was semi-AFK (I was at the keyboard, but eating, not using the controls.) Then, some guy runs in, as fast as possible, and I was cornered, due to the GREAT location I selected :p Anyway, as fast as I can, I drop my fork into the bowl, press the button to whip out my naginata, and turn the guy into mush. He drops pliers, I'm happy, we were both on tag, yet he was the aggressor, so it's ok for me to kill him. That guy was completely unprovoked, probably just saw I was on Bmode. Well, maybe not entirely unprovoked, a week earlier, I was outside of Tanarthia, reading the forums when I heard the "failed" noise when someone attacks you and the attack fails. This was the same person, and I was fighting back, nearly killed him, then he runs (later I spare his life for a measly 20 plat, demn, I'm too nice.) ANYWAY, later that SAME day, this one guy, Kojilee, a newb also on tag (like me) runs up to me when he thinks I'm AFK, and casts magic bullet, sadly, for him, I wasn't, and turned him to mush before he gets out a second bullet.

The lesson of the story is, don't attack people who you think are AFK, because often they're not really AFK, and might kill you.

I hate when people do that. It's so annoying when I am reading forums and I have to listen to the sounds to hear if someone is trying to kill me. Also when I run into post office or something there is almost always someone hitting me or whatever >_<

Yeah, but the joy of killing them often compensates for that.

My story:

I'm just trying to make like the 5th Cooper horse since all the other ones keep getting bugged up. Selzar PMs me for help and while I'm PMing him back, I notice a message that says "You have been killed by Selzar!" on my screen. I then help him and walk back to Cooper, where he kills me again. I start telling him why people hate him, and while I type that, I am killed again. Then he asks me about his forum account, and I explain to him why it's banned, and while he responds back to me, I kill him with flaming aura.

Selzar is an idiot, just dont pay attaention to him and he'll eventually leave me alone....that and a few sword swipes up his chest >=]

Vahn (Selzar) is a idiot, really though. No wondedr he was banned from the forums. Oh, and DX, I know how you feel. Boukon and the other people like infinite keep hitting me town to 1/5 of my hp and I keep having to heal and eat.

At least on Graal Classic you can usually kill the person that killed you fairly quickly. With GK, you sometimes have to run halfway across the world, get there, and then if you're lucky enough to be stronger than them, you have to avoid all their lame and desperate attempts at beating you again, while you try to kill them.

With classic, you get killed, you kill the person, they kill you, you kill them, they kill you, etc. Until you both just get bored and wander off. I just wish there were more restart positions. Are there NONE on Hotaru island? Where is the damned dock? I hate getting killed there and having to travel all the way from the main island just to get back.

Heh...Koni, just tell them something like "You've on the battle but not the war" since the same applies =p You decided to attack them the same way they decided to attack you (even though that's not the situation) to shut them up since they can't comprehend anything differently that makes more sense.

My pking joke...hmmm....
Almost all would start an argument cause it either involves kingdom issues or is with a ***** like Selzar ^_^

Selzar can't handle me anymore, now that I can summon the Avatar of Brigid .. he was all like "wtf it's sposed to be an elf wtf" to cover for his fright, hahahah .. it kicked the crap out of him, but he ran away .. :p

Me too. I can only regail you with tales of Classic duels, and my unfortunate encounter with the Master Shell Bomy of Santerrain.

I hope Selzar will grow up.

Once at like 2 in the morning I killed some kid, then i tried again but he signed off. So I went all invisible and waited there for awhile listening to music. Then he logged back on and I killed him and took his money. that was on 2k1 though.


oh and pkers usualy like to get the last hit and be done, thats why they dont want to fight more, they want to end with victory and whatnot.

Playerkilling, unfortunately, is determined greatly by the personality of the player, in my opinion. And it is quite difficult to change certain people.
