Treasure Map Ideas

I got 2 ideas.

1 is that in the treasure map it should show the number of monsters you have left to kill. Since when I went to a map like a few minutes ago. I beat the big room and everything. I thought I beat it but their was one monster left. This could make for it can show how many monsters their are left.

2 is when you beat the map it should include an other map like. If you beat 1 you get a level 2. You beat level 2 and you get a level 3. You beat a level 4 and you get immense. Then when you get immense it can give you a level 1 map so you can start over again. Something like that.

Theirs my 2 cents. ;)

That would be nice. ^-^

I like the way the treasure maps would work, so you couldn't just stay on immenses and gain uber experience.

Very nice man.

I think there should be a timer to appear in your menu when you're in a treasure cave too, so you know how much time EXACTLY is left.

You mean that when it hits 1:00 it like countdowns?

Kaiser2 04-03-2003 04:47 AM

Nah, the whole time, because, like, when it hits 5 min, I know I have to hurry, but sometimes I miss the message, and the next, and it's like "whew, still at least 5 min left" *1 min message appears* "WHAT?!?!?!"

That or it should be way more random but have visible effects. Like trickles of dirt and rock, and a low rumbling, and it all comes a lot faster and louder as you run out of time, until a distinct, recognizable constant rumbling with loud BOOMs and huge boulders crashing to the ground that makes it really, really clear you're out of time...

Accually when you beat immense you get the money. Then you get sent to a room with items, weapons, etc. When you pick them up. You will talk to a guy and he will warp you to Bomboria.

Kaiser2 04-03-2003 09:53 PM

Warp to Bomboria? um...how about...no?
Warping is very un-GK-like, except for those bells, and I don't think any in the entire server work anympore. And what would the guy be doing in there, hm? why shouldn't he just take the stuff?

Tyhm 04-04-2003 01:25 AM

I think you should get spat out when you win, instead of talking to some warping guy. Particularly if you have more business in the area you were just in. Maybe if you beat it, stairs out appear. Maybe if you fail, you die or exit with 3 HP.

Kaiser2 04-04-2003 01:37 AM

Exiting with 3hp is a good idea, or you exit with 0 hp, not dead, but unable to move for a good 30 seconds or so, lying on the ground, then there would be a gani with you standing up, you know?

Like we can go to 0 hp without moving. Then while we are down on the ground we gain HP and when we get to 3 or 5 or whatever we get back up.

Did you not read a thing?
The idea is that you need to go through the cycle.
Map 1 to Map 2 to Map 3 to Map 4 to Map 5.
From Map 5 (Immense) you get Map 1 and you start the cycle again, you don't get Map 5 from a Map 5....silly goose.

Well at level 5 and you beat it I think I posted that you get sent to a room with goods and you get warped out. But you have to kill monsters to start off with level 1 map. You probaly can't even get Map 2+

konidias 04-05-2003 09:11 PM

I don't think there is a need for idea #2, because the monsters you kill in the map dungeons usually drop more treasure maps anyway, so it's kind of silly assuring that you get another map or whatever.

It would make the point of having different level maps obselete, because you could just get level 1 maps, and beat all five levels, instead of just going to a levle 5 map and beating the last one.
