Help -please- with Bow of Auriga

It 'readies' and says 'you will now fire arrows with bow of Auriga' readied.

Only thing is I don't. I punch and kick.
I'd call this a bug, and post there, but I want to be very sure I'm not doing something wrong. I have missile weapons skill and use other bows fine, how do you use this??

No bug, the weapon simpliy hasn't been ported to Graal from the orginal game the mudlibs are used from.

Okay, thanks GP, I'm disappointed there are items we can buy but not even use. x.x

Do you think I will have have to wait long to use it?

It's an alchemy item so it's getting removed.

You'll get compensation for it though, at least people say you will. Anyway, you can still attack with kicks and punches. You get the bonuses as if you equipped the weapon, but you attack like you haven't.
