1) Buy a house flag
Get a high ranking official of the kingdom to turn it into a frame.
Gather the logs, boards, and nails you need.
Boards is self-explanitory
Stones are in the stone mines near the Balor altar
The Balor altar is near the OOC island in the middle of main.
Nails are made from iron, 1 iron=5 nails.
Nails can be made in Bomboria.
You need roughly 6 logs, 90 stones, 160 or so boards and 360 or so nails.

2) you feed pets by dropping water or food near them.
You can also feed them with a feeding trough, which you can fill with food by dragging and dropping it onto the feeding trough.
Best place to hatch an egg to make a pet is on the beach, where shell bomies get you food, and water is everywhere.
Once at 75%, you can name a pet, and can make it follow you, or stop following you with "follow" and "stop."
(I take that you know how to get a pet egg.)
Feeding troughs are useful when you're going to sleep and the pet needs to be fed. It's a good idea to leave a pet in your house with a feeding trough when you sign off.

3) For magic, you need the literacy skill to read books to learn magic, and you need a talisman or the wizardry skill to use it.
You can learn the skill from a scroll (scroll of legerdmaine(sp?))
I prefer the talisman, because it is cheaper and you won't fail learning the skill that way.
You also need a wand to cast magic, you can buy one for cheap at Santerrian.
To get the literacy skill, you need to find and read successfully, a scroll of literacy.

4) Melee scroll is almost self-explanitory.
If you're of the Sorceror class, you need this scroll.
Find it in a store, read it, and if you learn it, you can use melee weapons (swords, clubs, etc.)

Sorcerors don't NEED it... but it is a good thing to have...

You make them at any of the Kingdom Islands.

I was referring to the fact that if you're a sorceror, you won't have the skill, but virtually every other class does (though I may be wrong.) But yes, you are correct, it was a poor choice of words on my part.

A direct location is a house at Cyrest on Zormite (there are like 5 there, so if you need to ask which, just go look for yourself.)

Making a house is painful but heres what you need


80 Stones
150 Boards
300 Nails
and i think 4-5 logs

and 100 platinum coins so you can buy a building flag

More nails than that, and around 6-8 logs to be exact, but the rest is fairly accurate.
