Scrolls
Ok, well, I was carrying around my scroll of shopping (I'vee been trying to find a buyer for it) in my sack, then when I drag and drop something into my sack, the pointer went over the scroll (I was dragging an item) then I let go, and accidentially doubleclicked (twitch hands and an old mouse are bad...) and ended up using the scroll, I failed it, because I had negative int gear on (and I didn't want to learn it anyway, I just wanted to sell!) Well, I want compensation for it, because I didn't want to try to learn it...I don't want the scroll (because people will say I tryed to learn it but failed, and want another shot) and I don't want the 2k plat that it cost (because people will say I tried to learn it, failed, wanted another shot or at least the money for it.) So instead, I just want 1k plat, which is around how much I would get if I sold it to a store. (BTW, this happened around 4 o'clock Eastern time.)

Best of luck, twitchy.

I'm actually better since 2 years ago :) I'm the coca cola fiend...so you can expect that hyperactivity can do that too you
|
You aren't gonna get compensated for that.
That is practically saying "I failed a spell with no proof of not intentionally wanting to attempt learning it so give me back half what it cost me." |
Yeah. I want 2k for all the pieties I failed before I got my int+2 ring and all the dievil feet I ate on accident. =P

Want proof? find logs of all the other times I tried to learn spells, I ALWAYS had int stuff equipped (unless I didn't have any at that time, which is true for my earlier spells, and one or 2 later ones), and this time, I was still wearing my armors (overall dropping my int by 4 points, and not wearing any Int rings whatsoever, giving me an Int of 10). Truly, you think I'd be dumb enough to skip getting rings, AND forget to take of armor? I always check my int stat before learning a spell or skill to make sure I don't fail it.
[edit] Another thing, I have a thread in GK Main forums where I posted that I'm selling the scroll, why would I risk wasting a perfectly good item I could profit from by selling? suggestion: when double clicking a scrool, instead, a menu pops up and you can click "Yes" or "No" to make sure that this mistake won't happen again.[/edit] |
Next issue is Stefan finding the time, good luck. He doesn't even have time to fix real problems (like my glitched account ;-;)

yeah, I guess :(
