i know it has been suggjested that graal bomy moon should go classic, and people said no becuase the reset will fix all!
well aparently it hasn't, but if it goes to the classic list this server will be near the top in my predictions, it's awsome and classic players will gather from all over, Stefan and Unixmad, you won't be loseing much money at all, people upgrade for graal kingdoms not graal bomy moon, please do this for all teh hardcore bomy moon fans :(!
maybe this would get more hits and suggjestions and possabley a view from stefan if it was on the graal main fourm, but it is mostly about graal bomy moon so i wanted to play it safe and put it here :o

What Geno said! Put it on classic, and we'll have players again!! Us staff will have things to do!!!! Unfortunately, GBM is part of the Gold Server storyline...so I doubt this will ever occur, but at least we're trying :(

First you say a reset will work. Then you finnaly get what you want. Now that you got what you want you don't like it becasue it didn't work. At this point most people would admit their being wrong but, NO, not you people. You ask for more. What if this doesnt work? Are you going to ask to be the only free server?

He pretty much did admit to be wrong, and wants to keep on trying. I don't see anything wrong with that.

We did aeset cuz that's what the people wanted, but apparently, the people are fickle, so we wish to do something else that might help. I came back to G2k1 after the reset, hoping that more would come too....

and to googi, yes thi has been suggjested but now that the reset has somewhat failed to grasp the audiance maybe stefan will recognize his and make GBM classic, just my hopes anyways :o

As we say in the south, "If it wont work... we'll make it work". We are in a time of experimental ideas for the server. So what if the reset didn't work? Does that mean we should delete GBM?

I dont believe Stefan will make any more money off of 2k1... and in fact he probally will loose some. For example, if something interesting is not done with Graal within the year, I wont reupgrade :(, I dont see a point when I can play Diablo 2 for free.

And people wonder why I didn't reupgrade.

A reset+kingdoms brought back a whole lot of people for about a week.

Why was this?

They had hope and faith that the server would be back on its feet.

(This is actually what was needed to start people coming back, so the reset by itself DID in fact work - it accomplished its primary objective)

This would have required its staff to make some outstanding new things ready to come right after the reset.

That apparently has not happened, therefore there is no wonder why the playercount has dropped.

Wow, all my predictions came true.

Actually, alot of us were saying to move it to classic, but the upper staff said the reset would help, NOT all of the lower staff said that, almost none of us did, it was the upper staff's belief.

The reset didn't help because there wasn't anything new. The players already knew it all so they could max out in like 10 hours excluding having thousands of gralats.

Duh.

GBM is sub-par as a server. Sure, it was great almost 1-1/2 years ago, but nothing major has been done. Now Playerworlds are coming out with fun things besides making the player mash buttons and work. Even if it wasn't mashing buttons it is still work.

People don't play Graal to do work. They want to have fun. When doing work was a new thing for Graal a lot of people liked it, but now it is boring and redundant.

actully i don't beleave 60 people came back becuase they had faith, the people with faith in this server are the people who work on it and play it when there are 10 people minus
teh reason 60 came back is becuase they heard it was reset and were thinking, here is my chance to have fun on a NEW server, they just came to be the judge of jury of it and they found it notfun aparently, well thats what i think anyways O:

You dont have to work... I never work and I own a playerhouse and a couple of hats.

And 2k1 should be turned into a 100% RP Server.

i agree with zurk, but i do like the working part kinda becuase then you can earn hats and bomys, yet then RolePlayers go,
ohmy i want hats and bomys so they "mash" buttons in order to get cash for them,
Idea: 100% Roleplaying and events would be nice

i'm not sure f it would work but i think it would be pretty nifty, just add ALOT more onto the kingdoms and such, HARDCORE ROLEPLAYING :D.

it's just an idea and i'm not sure if it would work or not but i think it's worth a try.

There are alot of fun things, but as Torankusu, everyone's done it all before. It's nice to have to dive for pearls and everything, but how many fun things are there? UN has cars and such, yet they go to the top with an average of 150 people. It's harder to get money there (Almost) than GBM, yet it stays at the top. They've always had a first, like pets, cars, etc. I love the trading system, but it's so limited, I mean you can't trade Draisine's, or anything. Would it not make more sense to add something like, oh say, upgrades for races (La la la, hammer, hammer, hammer) or at the most, a completely redone server? Yes, that would works for awhile, as we've seen in Ragnorak (Which wasn't approved, but still it died pretty fast). Personally I think that something is needed, new and original, like maybe add an underwater ocean like in Classic (Who wouldn't like a Giant Clam PH?) Or maybe add spaceships, and be able to travel to other planets. I know this are both dumb ideas, but at least they're ideas. Personally I think a reset at this time wasn't needed, I mean have you seen how everyone just left and went to Kingdoms? It's because they have updates...

And for the main part, I agree, it should be moved, but still it would come to the SAME problem, "we're bored", "Why should we keep working for no reason? I have everything"

Heh...Tseng stole the words from my mouth I said something similar on RC chat. I mean...even if we didn't add new quest and such something could have been done to always keep the players occupied like events for bomys and such rather than just auctions then like re-opening mines of doom and the following day add a new job like the tomato growing and pizza baking I was thinking about. Once we maintain a high player count for about two weeks kingdoms may actually go dead and our player count would permanently by high sort of how it is right now cept it's the opposite way x.x

Anyways...jobs aren't a problem...soon you don't even have to work =/ Once the economy gets going its mostly marketing which is fun XD

Nah thats not right. Because then only the people deemed as leet folk would get bomies and what not. It would all just be a stupid popularity contest. This way at least every one has a chance if they work for it.

Maybe some sort of event point system? You bid with event points. :) Would have to make it so not all events are pk type events. Maybe stuff like races across 2k1. Some sort of find the ET or people placed here and there with a riddle to the next person so forth and so on.

RPing in Events and RPing correctly
Learning How to RP
Winning Events
Turning in Cheaters and Hackers
Being Active in your kingdom
Being Active on your staff tag
etc...

i'm not sure if stefan defenintly won't do classic tab then switch to all points no money,
the points givers would have to be reallyr estricted thogh as in not giving themsleves points ect ._.
i would much rather see it under the classic list too, but i doubt stefan will even see this thread :[

maybe they could make the ocean a large one and make it deep and that you cant swim in it without a NPC that you get in a quest. then whenever you dive you go into an underwater view where its like the bottom of the ocean? and they should redo all of the Kingdom areas. like make the Inra castle different since its just the old Dustari castle. Same with the old Samurai place. and the Zormite castle. most of the places still say the old names on the signs and commands. they could move the kingdoms to different locations and all.

wow i really like that deep ocean diving magic idea :o
they could block off the water castle and make it so you need that NPC to get there :D
