IMMENSE Lag Problem. Help?
 

Well, for the past two days, I've had an extremely bad amount of lag on Graal Bomy Moon. I don't think it's the number of people, because Classic is just fine for me. For some odd reason, whenever I connect to GBM, I can load NPCs for usually around one minute, but then I just "lag out." (I either get disconnected or I reconnect myself.)

Right now, I can't load any NPCs at all. I seem to be the only one having this problem.

Can anyone help me? :[

Give us more informaiton about your set-up. Lime your options set and such.

Also, firewall and other like information would be nice.

Well, it's just been the past two days, but:


I'm using a modem. For some reason, I am just now lagging. I've never had a problem with lag on Graal, since it's not very demanding.

I don't have ZoneAlarm, the WinXP firewall, or any of the sort turned on.

I've tried checking the "Do not use UDP" options in the General Options and such, but that doesn't seem to help. :\

I got d/c from kingdoms 4 times, it almost caused me death.

Almost...damn.... :rolleyes:

Well, I found out the problem. Bomys/Bomies lag me to death. x_X;; Not the players, but the NPCs. I just have to avoid them... >_>
