Instead of LOSING exp when dieing.... READ NOW STEFAN!
How about EXP debt? Okay so when you die you get another thing below your EXP that says EXP Debt: and then one fourth of your total EXP, every time you do something half the EXP you gain from that (maybe killing monsters or iIDing food) goes into paying off the debt the other half goes into your regular EXP, sound good no?

Yesh

no bc ppl will let friends kill themn 655646 times and have like 15465 billion exp debt and then restart
|
...as opposed to just going to level 1 and losing stats until they reach all 0s, then restarting? I fail to see the difference. You never lose a level through exp loss (though you do lose your HP gain for said levels when your exp drops below the mark, and cannot gain it back by crossing that level mark again), so what's the difference to PKing?
|
Thym you NEVER loose stats with exp debt... it becomes increasingly difficult to GAIN them though... its a good idea to halt all level progression untill debt is paid off though
I had this idea first but it turned into my "amazing exp idea" which was flawed unlike this one |
I like this idea. You still have to gain experience back, BUT you have the comfort of knowing you haven't lost your level and hard-earned experience.
[edit]By the way, cshank4, your sig is really cute. :megaeek: [/edit] |

So, if you die, you need to gain 1/4 of your current exp in debt untill you can progress?
I think thats an AWESOME idea. |
