Playerworld Review: Era
 

This is the second review I'm making about online Playerworlds :). So here it goes:

Creativity - 8.5/10 - Very nice style! The most different Playerworld since now. And in my opinion, the most creative one. Bringing the real life style to Graal was an excelent idea. Although, the server could have some better systems, like the Police system. It really needs to be improved, because if it doesn't get improved, what's the point of the Police? Police Officers should be able to have more power than what they currently have.

Storyline - 7.5/10 - The server has actually no storyline, but the fact that the server is ruled by gangs and etc, gives it a better statement. You have to follow the rules of the gangs, or you may be put down by them. Yet, it's still a good roleplaying that many people liked, including myself.

Levels - 7.5/10 - The majority of the levels are fine. The thing that lets them looking awesome is the tileset. If you remove it, they seem like crap levels. It's basically streets with buildings. That's why I think it should be improved a little bit. Maybe try adding pathways next to the streets or adding more grass to some places. Because towns are not perfect, they have their ugly things too, they way it is just seems like flat streets with lamps and only. That would improve a lot.

NPCs - 9.5/10 - Awesome npcs! That's the thing I most liked in the server. The NPCs. I consider myself as a good scripter, and I know that those NPCs have their coding completely correct and were good coded. Original ideas, and things that had never seen before like Telephones (they way you type the number and make the communication is great! No one has ever done something like that in Graal before), guns (real guns) and the Gang System. Congratulations!

Quests/Jobs - 6.5/10 - There aren't many things to do in Era. Basically, only the jobs. There aren't any quests, but until this point I agree, since it doesn't make sense adding quests with monsters to a real life style server. But try adding more things to do. A food system would be cool: you have to work to earn money to buy food to eat, otherwise you become a beggar and you have no rights to anything, such as entering in the Casino, for example. That would make the vision of the server more realistic and funnier.

I disagree with the levels part. If they want to be realistic like you said, than it's great the way it is. The roads and buildings are set up *almost* like a real city or town.

Can you be more specific with the npcs also, telephones..Hooray?

Nono, I mean like could you describe some more of the original npcs that they have so I have an idea of what they have to offer. :P

nice review i wish u was offical but the only thing i disagree with u is the Quests and jobs they have more than i have seen on any other server except Graal kingdoms

When I said that they don't have many things to do is that they don't have things to keep the player thinking and doing something in real.

I'm not talking about entertainment, because that is something that Era has a lot! :)

Why be PWA if you own a server x.x

Main things Era needs in my opinion:

1. A facelift. Revamp graphics, new bodies (although I hear this is being done), make more than one stinking tree graphic, lol.
2. More events/games/things to do. Basically stuff players can do together, by themselves, anything. The only event there really is, is laser tag, and I don't see it being played anymore. Why not make some sports or something? Also transportation, and possibly having food as a requirement and have drivethrus and restaurants where you can get food.

I like the bounty thing... Although I have no idea how it works. Can someone explain? I'd like to see something where players can place bounties on other players heads, then bounty hunters could go and kill that person, and recieve the reward. If this is already on Era, someone please explain how it works. (like where do I see who has a bounty on them, etc)

Why play lazer tag when you can lame ****s? Or get kicked out of BH over and over untill their sentries kill you.

I'm ready to quit Maloria to be a PWA.
I mean, I will quit if they ask me.

Question: Who will become manager if you quit?

BinaryCrash, the other Manager.
He was Co-Manager until january, now I hired him as Manager to help the server in case I quit.

If you ask me, this is even worse then asking to be PWA, by just all of a sudden reviewing PW's when they're hiring.

As for your reviews, I don't agree with a lot of it.
One thing is your grammatical errors. Personally, I don't like reading reviews that aren't worded correctly.

English isn't Cyber's main language.:\

If you dont like bad grammar dont look at the incorrect words. Its not his fault he doesnt have a P.H.D. in Literature.

I also think its weird that CyberX suddenly do rewiews on every server.


Everybody will think "omg cyberx is cool" , are everybody supposed to start post rewiews to be PW Rewiers?

I'd have to say that overall, the review stunk. Those are extremely high scores for Era to achieve. You're not leaving much room for improvement. I mean, 9.5 on NPCs? Wow they have a telephone system, it's not incredibly hard to make. So basically no other pw can be much better with scripts than Era. Where is the other .5 going to go?

I think you rated it too high is all. If Era gets this kind of rating, Oasis would be getting 12's or something... :p

I'm not comparing Playerworlds here, I'm just rating them for what they current have.

Era got 9.5 on NPCs because they knew how to mix the simple NPCs, with a cool scripting. And no server (currently online) is better than Era on NPCs, in my opinion... Maybe Maloria is, with the new NPCs that we haven't released yet, but still... Era is a very good server on the NPC category.

When I said online, I meant the current visible playerworlds (the ones that are in the server list)...

all servers suck era is the best from what I seen but that is NOT saying much.

They are o.o, But you gotta be special to see it. Or have access to RC.

Kind of bad if people think that. Era isn't the greatest server in the world. Era is just 2k1 with a new tileset and guns.

The most known event on Era is PKing, and usally when the whole server is PKing it shows that the server doesn't hold much.

But that's my opinion.

It's hard when almost every sentence has something wrong with it, even though it may not be his "main" language, I still don't like reading choppy sentences.

Maybe to let him simply know he doesn't like it, but won't go in depth? Ya think?

Hopefully when Oasis comes up there may be 1 good server..

Era is really a nice playerworld,but other servers are nice too.
