Well, a lot of things need attention, and the current events team is not giving them the attention they deserve.

As I've said before...

Events need to be about skill, not about strength.

Why make the strongest people in the game (Who have items that are
impossible to get any more anyway), simply get even MORE items that nobody
else can get?

It just makes it harder for anyone else to match them.

What does that bring about?

These same strong people having an even GREATER advantage in the next
strength based event!

Events:

1) Shouldn't be based on strength, but on skill
2) Have an entrance fee very rarely, if at all. Prizes should be sponsored by the
server. And if there is an entrance fee, it should be a small/medium one, ONLY
if the prize is VERY valuable and worth paying some money to try to get. Not so
many of these "win the pot" events.

Something that might prove interesting...A betting system.

Bet on who will win, out of those super strong people. Have some just as good
random prizes to people who win.



Another thing is these one-of-a-kind items.

I want SOME kind of gloves.

What kind of gloves are available?

Super-rare-super-expensive-super-strong gloves that can't be made anymore!

I want some leather gloves, with ac+1 armor+3, or something like that.



We need a few things.

1) Better ideas.

2) Staff who will listen to these ideas.



Someone said we need more RP events. Agreed, there should be more RP events. But those are more up to the
kingdoms themselves. They should enforce RP rules better, as well as have
more RP events. However, the events team could help coordinate this.



The whole peaceful/battle thing is messed up. Nobody below
level 10 or so can go on battle mode without being completely beaten up.

There should be a limit...Like...you can only attack in battle mode people 3
levels above or below you.



Anyway, think about these ideas. And I hope Stefan/Loriel/The current events team reads this.

I agree with the whole skill thing, but you should still eave in all the old events for the stronger people... what if they want a challenge? Plus the whole betting thing sounds cool, if I were to suggest something, you could do the storm the castle game, and just make it so when you enter you have a set life amount... and strength so it is fair

your right. I hate when vahn and brad always enter the events and we have to lose.

THIS game= NOT balenced. If studded armor and leather armor would come out then noone would use it because they can just get silver plate mail or gold plate mail HELLA fast from that stupid dungeon. This may be off the subject but I HATE THIS

i think everyone that enters an event should have equal chance of winning...an event's purpose is to have fun..it spoils it to know that automatically that so and so or this so and so will win..how fair is that x.x

Aye... But see, while that seems fair, doing it becomes unfair to people that train hard or whatever to be strong so they can win battles. (ie tournament fighting)

There just needs to be more events that don't deal with player stats. :)

I hardly ever win. Boukon and them can bash my brains in. I am a priest dangit.

They need to lower the casting time depending on Pow, Wis, Int and your Magic and Wisdom levels. This way you could shoot off a Cause Wounds, because as it stands now you can't without getting interrupted.

-_- The events team aren't smart enough for these idea's you guys are talking about.

The studded armor thing pfft. before you would implement that it would be best for level requirements for weapons and armor.

Then if they aren't smart enough, perhaps we need some new ones.

ALL his events have entree fees and the prize isn't even the entire pot =/ It's usually 300 plat and the entry fee is usually around 30 so if over more than 10 people enter he keeps the rest not to mention he's a complete *****.

In my opinion the only people that should hold events are Loriel and Stefan =/ People with power that can man-handle *****s that ruin events, people with brains bigger than peanuts and people that can deliver the leet prizes.

I honestly prefer an event once a month by Loriel over two a week from these lame ETs.

FFS why can't we have events that actually make sense (IE ROLE-PLAYING EVENTS LOLOLO BECAUSE GRAAL KINGDOMS IS A ROLE-PLAYING SERVER) instead of "wow let's go do soem hax0ring baddies and massive tourneys again"

I'd like to see more RP events, myself. The Events Team and the Kingdom leaders need to coordinate this kind of thing.

It all goes back to the fact that they are not smart enough, nor coordinated enough, which I have noticed from previous events (what I have heard on these forums) to have sophisticated connected RP events on the server. Everyone is complaining and talking about how bad Giblin is, and how bad all these events are, it only deals with the big people.. blah blah blah. Well the solution is simple. Fire them and have a systematic way to get new ones in and make sure they are able to do these things required by the people..

Lotsa events = mixed blessing.

Sure- it's entertainment, however... it saturates the population, and eventually...one event becomes overused, and people refuse to play any OTHER event, much as with 2K1 and survivor.

I actually hate survivor even though I'm a good sparrer =p

Heh...truly though, if alot more RP events are held the complaints would be
"liek wts omfg hold sparing events so i r can win...all teh smrt ppl win deez yo"
