Bandit attack?
 
Hmm...I don't know I was thinking, maybe have some people as bandits and they occupy a town or something, so then the people of Graal need to band together and drive them out?
Maybe have them drop money or gems or something, seeing as how they are bandits, and would most likely have items of the sort.
