I am going to report Viper to the police for you, I think hes a total idiot, and today he has sent 5000 of the same E-mail, I will report him to my ISP and the Police and forward the e-mail (no attachments) to you!

Yup, I wanted to see who else was also going to do it too. And I was waiting for other people to reply by saying, ''I will do this too''
and jsut to let Unix know that he has my support as he closed his thread.

Yeah I'd like to kow a bit more, as I understand whom to tell but I dont know exactly what to say or what evidence to present to the police.

I Will tell the police, i mean Unixmad has my full support....but i need to know where to send the stuff to..i mean should we send the police a e-mail about this? Can you send the e-amil (without virus) to me?

(I am at school, so i will talk about this when i get home in about 4 hours)

You're missing the point. You're not supposed to go to the police unless the person himself sent you the e-mail or any other material of that nature. Not have some one else send it to you so that you can go to the police.

Is this about an email with a supossed leak with PM's and you need to install an update?

Okay, well i contacted my ISP, after about 18 phone calls and waiting ages and pressing either 1,2,3 or 4 on my phone keypad I go through to a trainee weird talking (disablitly) person who said I should....

''Update my anti-virus''

So I said AGAIN I needed to report this to them, he said ok, put me on hold, came back and someone else said to update the Anti-Virus so I hung up in disgrace, So instead of contacting my ISP, I'll contact vipers, it will be cheaper to call and probably quicker.

Also he E-mail me saying

Ofcourse i cant, but the guy sended me a virus, in Sweden you have broken a law if you send a virus to somebody....

Also Unix: COuld you please tell me where to get or how to get that auto reply confirmation thing, i really need it, Viper is senidng me tons of E-mails every day.

I got the Important Graal Client Security Patch, Please Install immediatly email with the attachment.

Except it's in my graal.net email, so I don't know how to get the thing that unix was talking bout to send to my ISP.

0.o in what thread, I dont realy now, i think its some Spy Virus, so he can lay in files to my computer and look what i do on it. When i opened the email my whole screen got white.
There are some pretty weird files ive got wich ive not downloaded

I have gotten some emails saying they were some sort of graal program or something that contained viruses, my email auto-quarantene's them, so I will have to look in my virus programs logs to see what they were

how can you report someone for doing somthing on the internet if you don't even know it was realy them :o?

the email headers contain the server & IP it was sent from, ISPs have logs of IPs, so it could be traced back

Has anyone gotten like hundreds of emails from a single address lately which contain the message "F*** YOU"? I don't remember the address but the subject lines contained words like "Graal" "Kaimetsu" "unixmad" "Saria" and other, non-Graal things like "sex" and so on. It may not be related, but I thought I'd ask.

I've been on some of these hacking Graal/anti-Graal forums. They claim that freedom of speech allows them to post hacked accounts with their passwords on the forums. Then say they hate Graal so much and everything, yet they put in so much time to do a little harm to the game. It's like gesh.net; this will pass and everyone will forget about it.

gesh.net... I remember the "fun" it brought to Maloria, having to constantly disconnect/ban hacked staff accounts :o

If you all want to help so bad, go to unixmad and talk to him "personally" instead of making threads about it.

I reported his IP to Arin Abuse Center and SPAM COP :). I also called Earthlink asking to investigate (They have a tech and a abuse line give it a try ^_^) and they told me they would terminatie the account :o

I never got the email but you can report it to my anti-virus thing. Its is SystemSuite.

And you should try to find the virus name and report it to.

it seems you all are retarded :) if you know his IP and/or the IP of the server he sent it from have unixmad call up the ISP for that IP ask around get in contact with the owner of that server and then look in their logs for sendmail crap and then they find his IP contact his ISP get a bit of info call up FBI (I think) and also have them shut down his internet :)

I personally have had internet taken from script kiddies, I own servers and if they try to do anything I just call up their ISP and a few minutes later they are gone :)

Really... thats funny as i know 2 Federal Agents myself and they dont require proof anything that effect a business in another country the FBI is immediatly called in as they try to keep cool beans with other countries...

and more importantly according to the USPA which was recently passed by congress anyone can be arrested without probable cause and be held for upto 30 days aswell you can be taken to closed court hearings without a jury.

This is really important you forward me the message receive with the Virus so I can forward to our attorney.

Also this don't help to speak if you don't report him to police/fbi or any authorities you can, I am sure that there must be a good amount of parents/friends lawyers around you...

[email protected] is a sign of a different virus thats been out lately.. I forgot the name of it

My friend that quit graal got that kind of e-mail, but i forgot about it...so any news about viper and his evil doings?

If I'm not mistaken, .pif was an extension used in the older versions of Windows for DOS programs. It was the "Program Information File" and basically was a way of running a DOS executable, with the different MS-DOS options in windows already set on it. Hasn't been used in a long while though.

Viruses come disguised as a lot of things. Think of it this way, I can rename a file like apple.jpg to apple.mid, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a jpeg.

I believe a pif file could point to a program on the internet, like a trojan, as well.

I also received lots of those lately :/

Already did it the day i got the E-mails :)
And the comapny did say they will look into it and will eihter pass it on or personally build a court case, as he broke the code of conduct for the user thing.

And that, my friends, is why you should always tell Windows to show all file extensions, no matter what. Easier to tell a GIF from a PNG and a midi file from a trojan horse.

which was why the hide extension thing should never have been put into windows
