wizards: 2nd class citizens
 

1)create bomb modified to take so long to cast its dangerous to use. modified because of a complaint?

2)wizards cant wear much in armor , and if we do we fumble spells. We use ingenuity to build walls with items to hide behind and cast spells and the monsters are made to eat the walls.
the warrior types complain and now monsters eat everything .

If things are going to change can things be made equitable for wizards and priests:
I would like to see something like robes which armor wizards ,
same as regular armor or the armor spell to cast +20 armor, ac+2
and spell casting time reduced to the same time it takes to swing a heavy weapon . Possibling charging made to work , where you charge a spell and instantly fires when you want it too.

Why not just become a warrior or barbarian? Its not others fault you picked a worthless class... and if they made magic like that then it wouldn't help, the barbarians and warriors would just have those same spells and be even stronger.

Sience when to PRIESTS need wands to cast spells?

Everyone fumbles spells if you wear too much, thats always been that way. There is also very light armour like Mithril thats strong and doesn't cause you to fumble. I do agree that they are making casting times too long, especially on spells like small lighting. Casting time should be able to be decreased somehow, maybe with magic level, power or speed, even combinations of them.
And Boukon, you don't have to be such an ass. Its not that Sorcerers are a worthless class, just an abused class, half their spells are disabled, the light armour isn't really available through conventional means nor are the ones that add stats like Pow or Magic and still defend, such as the Crown of Magic, or the Shield of Brigid

Priests will eventually get stronger and I will own you all ^_^

Priest's are not ment to be wearing heavy gold plate mail and such.
Priest's will have robes. And Sorcerers will have HOODED robes.
Only that class can wield it.

Also item walls= wasn't even men't to be, lamers did it. It was basically cheating so don't complain on it coming back im 100% IT WILL NEVER COME BACK.

I am trying to be a warrior with mellee scroll , but we are minused at the beginning of strength and constitution , I have rOt and str+2 rings but I am only 17 anyway.

Sorcerers will get spells like build ice wall and such anyway.

Wizards wore cloaks, not plate mail or chain mail. The cloaks were enchanted with spells to ward off certian types of attacks or spells.

Also, why can Barbarians and Warriors learn magic? I can see Priests and Alchemists need magic, but not the warrior class. -_-
Mabey the Warrior classes should also have skills magi cannot learn? It would stop people from being godly and having all the scrolls like I do. ;x

Also, spell casting should be slowed if not vanquished from the game. -_- It takes WAY to long to cast any spell, and all they are are light shows that lag the hell out of people. Just make create bomb make a little bomb explode over the affected player, like a small bomb icon. So if I casted Create bomb in a room, it would show them icons over all the people withen the affected radius. :) Same with snowstorm, it just shows a snowflake, medium snowstorm, a few snowflakes, etc... It also deals the dmage at one time. :)

lol shrimp... Im a big meanie. I do like some magic spells but I dont care because I have 7 mp lol... :: wubs shrimp :: :p

I agree with Zell on the lag... Those magic spells are killer laggers, and I have an awsome computer that gets 99.99 fps on counter-strike :D

Yes, I broke the npcserver using them new spells on debug. Since they wern't completed, they kinda, did what they wern't supposed to do. ;(
Oh well, keep this alive so stefan will see it, I hate waiting all night for him. ;x

lv13 wisdom = protection from attack prayer = warriors and barbarians can't do poop

It only raises your restance, its not 100%

Im with preists not having wands (since i am one) but instead having somthing thats like a special item like girdles or a madallion or getting even more D&D like (if this is ok) have holy symbols that u get when u pray to a god so that way it makes more sense with the gods channelling powers i mean hmm lets see them sending powers from a wooden stick or from a symbol of their Diety. Any one else like the idea?
