Not gaining experience.

Well, as a sorcerer, I decided to look into getting myself a scroll to learn how to fight in other ways. I successfully learned the skill of missile weapons, and can now use a bow. It works fine and everything, except whenever I hit a monster with an arrow, I get the message. "You have no knowledge of melee weapons" and when the monster dies, I do not gain any experience at all. Has this happened to anyone else before?

This is a bug .. you used to need to know both melee and missile to use bows .. but it seems that somehow something has carried over. I'd recommend you save your arrows until this is fixed.
