Several bugs
Ok below are a list of bugs that seem to be a real pain:
1) When a lizardon or a soldier baddy shoots an arrow, it deducts 1 arrow from the player's arrows count. Because of this, people are always coming to me and asking me to script a way to fix this. 2) When using lay or lay2, it is not woking in weapons. I have serversided the command and even had it in a database npc with a triggeraction, everything works except one: the item/rupee does not lay 3) Lay or lay2 does seem to work for showcharacter npcs, BUT when I am playing online the ammount is also deducted from my player. (Example: I have 100 gelat, the NPC lays a red rupee, now all I have is 70 gelat, and I must collect the rupee to get back to what I previously had, 100 gelat. Would this be a problem with the gralats class or is this actually an exe bug?) |

2) Graal2001 uses lay2 for the /drop command in a weapon, so I dunno where you're going wrong there (It needs to be clientsided, btw.) 3) no clue about #3 |
Re: Re: Several bugs
CheeToS, that was his problem for #2, he was doing it serversided. So you really DID know where he was going wrong :)
As for #3, try giving the NPC some rupees to start with before it lays. Since they're clientside, they're vulnerable to trainers, and therefore it requires that the player drops rupees. This is an effective way to stop hacking. Since I haven't used it with an NPC laying its own rupees, I can't say whether or not it will work. However, I think it is a good place to start. |
I could care less about any of these bugs sine I basically hate using default things built into graal such as the default baddies, items, etc :O

Yes some of the old classic stuff is not working with npcserver, like lay/lay2 are not existing on serverside, also baddies are still the same like in classic mode. Whenever on clientside an item or arrows are dropped then it removes it from the player on serverside so you can use those quite securely, although things like 'putnpc2' and 'shoot' are more powerful and work better.
