GRRR, really annoyed!

I have reinstalled graal 3 times because when I view levels offline it appears as though it is trying to use an older graal version to view it....I cant see half of the tiles.
Anyone know what might be wrong?

Dude6252000 12-30-2002 05:42 PM

Does the level..Just, have half the tiles not finished? o_O; If it does, then, I have no idea.

maybe your \Graal\levels\tiledefs\tiledefsOffline.txt is corrupted?
clearing it might help.

or maybe its from a tile def. Like when alot of people first checked out maloria. Then the tiles where maloria tiles for every server. Just incase you might also try this script.'

if (created) {removetiledefs;} (or it might be removetiledef been a long time)

Could be a problem with if you went on graal1998 with the old tile set? Just an idea. :)

Its a bug cause by these tilesets and maps, Someone did a sloppy version of adding this feature into graal as it has alot of bugs, and they need to fix it... For eg... Here in my level you can see a posts, when infact there are nothing but plain grass and some long grass! And I havent added a tileset, and I clear tiledefs folder, but it comes back after a while (You can make the levels but not play it, as it messes up and you cant walk on grass, and houses think its water and all messed up etc..)

that is exactly my problem...and I cant view peoples levels when they send them to me with this problem =(

clearing the tiledefoffline.txt did no good

[EDIT] Well, I didnt fix it, but I figured out how to do it so it views right...I cannot double click on the graal file to open it, or do F5 after I open graal in training mode....the only way I can do it to keep it from messing up the tiles is to open graal in training mode, and hit F4, opening the editor first, then open the file, then hit play....thanks for replying guys[/EDIT]

hehe, I had that problem online when I tried to make providence a flat gmap before the g-server even supported it like almost a year ago

I had the same problem, all you do is maxamize graal window then minimize, then all your tiles should be fine after that.

Spark910 12-31-2002 06:37 PM

'':)''

and how do you minamize once it is full screen?

RTelvecho 12-31-2002 06:57 PM

i had a prob like that... i did
NPC Code:

if (playerenters) {
removetiledefs;
addtiledef pics1.png,,;
}
