The newest version of graal semi works with winex (windows game emulator) and it is the first one that does! The only thing that doesn't work is the online mode :(. The rest works perfectly though!

Heh, probably to widen the playerbase though they made it for windows.

(this post also to prove my forum bug post, it goes above other posts!)

Not really. Different programs altogether.

konidias 12-29-2002 06:36 AM

The server is scripted in linux because it's run on a linux server. (like just about 90% of all servers lol) With most hosting companies, they have linux for their server OS. Very rarely you will find servers running windows, so that is probably why they scripted it in linux. Yes, Kamuii is right, the server program and client program are two totally different things.

Since I no longer work for Graal, I can't tell you any plans, but I'm sure most of you already know that Stefan is working on Graal so that it will be compatible with both linux and mac.

Hopefully the mac version will not be just for OSX but will have a version for OS9 as well. Some of us don't have OSX :(
