What should I be looking into? What spells/items should I get? :confused:

That probably depends on how much money you have.

I'd recommend small lightning. It's the most powerful level one spell you'll find. The only downside is that it burns items.

Second to that would be small snowstorm.

Once you reach level two, keep an eye out for poison cloud. It has a large effect area, and aids in weakened enemies. It also can kill enemies after a period of time.

At level three, I'd say medium snowstorm would be your best choice. It's rather big, and can destroy most anything caught near the center. The plus side is that it does not destroy items, it simply freezes them.

Just my suggestions. Oh, and at level six .. create bomb. Of course. A large attack radius, massive damage, four incredibly powerful splints that are shot out initially, and a lengthy attack time make it an ideal spell.

Oh, and once you reach level 18, I'd say destruction, without hesitation. Definitely the most powerful spell in all of Graal. However, I have yet to see anyone reach such a level, so .. good luck on that.

destruction barely does ANY damage for me on Debug, and I'm level 108 in magic there, it has a huge are of effect tho

no one really mention magic bullet ;o
it only uses up 1 mana.. =o

Firebolt = best level 2 spell imo.

That brings up another question.. Does anyone have any money to buy me another small snowstorm? I just failed it with 20 int :(

I think Magic Bullet is possibly the best lvl 1 spell in the game... it really rox graphically, it deals reasonable damage, is easy to aim, and doesn't have a huge charging time. I'm level 5 magic and I use Bullet almost exclusively when I'm just killing one critter at a time.

^_^ i can kill skels with around 6 bullets...which is only 12 sp to me
and to the other guy...maybe you have low mental level or something
