It seems that someone hates me.
 

For a while I've been asking Stefan if he'd restore me.

All I want is a "yes" or "no", and if a yes, then when I can expect to be restored.

I haven't gotten a yes or a no. The first time I asked, I got "x-x". The second time, today (I have not had luck in finding him online), I asked, he said "?", I elaborated, he asked if I'd sent him a forum PM, I said yes. Then, a few minutes later, he logged off.

Is one word really too much to ask for?

I just want to be able to enjoy GK again. Restoration to my previous state would be AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL, but if I can't have that, I'll deal with it and continue with what very little I have left.

I'm posting this here because I don't know how to make him respond to me. I'm hoping maybe this will work. If it doesn't, I'm using whatever money I've saved to fly to France and ask him in person. Okay, maybe not .. but .. I think my point's been made.. :\

Yea, he gave me the x_x once....I bet it means "Go away you fricking annoying little punk im working" or maby not:)

That's sort of how I take it.. :\

It's obvious he doesn't want to restore you. I get the same questions and the same "just give me a yes or no" and then I say "no" and then they ask me a ton of questions as to why I can't do it, who CAN do it, am I just being lazy, etc.

90% of people wanting restores lost their experience or whatnot from completely normal reasons (ie dying in the dungeon) Of course, for some reason, when most people get killed, they automatically think it was a glitch, or at least, try to make us think that. Here are some examples:

"Help, can you please restore me, I was in the dungeons and got d/c and was killed like 3 times"

"I need to be restored, I was lagging and monsters killed me"

"Can you restore my account? I was near a cauldron and it exploded and killed me."

I mean seriously, unless you get completely reset for no apparent reason, I don't think it's a big enough concern to restore. Also, something people don't usually realise, is that we don't have backups of every account every second of the day. Backups are only made when an account GLITCHES (meaning you get totally reset somehow) or you restart your account. Other than that, it does not save backups. So no, we can't restore you back to "3 deaths ago" or "2 days ago" or whatever.

I feel bad for people that lose experience or whatever because of lag, or disconnection, or a mistake, or whatever, but we just can't restore every person that asks.

"Can you restore my account, I was like 14 with a warrior axe, about 50 spells, 5000 platinum coins, and all the tools and lots of items... I used some potion and it wiped out all my stuff"

Honestly, would you want me to restore this person, with absolutely no evidence that these things existed? The last thing I (and probably Stefan as well) want to deal with when we get on Graal Kingdoms, is having to restore accounts. I'm busy holding events and planning things, and restoring legitimate accounts, and Stefan is busy adding new things, bug testing them, and also restoring legitimate accounts. We don't have time to tell you "no we can't restore your account", because we know it will leave you with more questions to ask.

I restarted, you have a backup of it. All I'm asking is to be restored to when I first restarted most recently. Is that legitimate enough for you? If it's not, if I'm asking too much, then I'll continue playing Graal Kingdoms with what I have.

Just to let you know, I'm not your average Graalian, and if he would have given me a "no", I would have said "Okay, thank you for your time" .. or something to that effect. I would not respond with .. "wth y wont u restor me u sux" .. hardly .. I would have thought I've made that apparant throughout my time here on Graal.

So .. what is going to happen?

i got dced in the dungeon and killed 3 times,(koni wouldnt restore me and that is ok because i got all my exp back and some more, =D took me forever though) i understand where konidias is coming from, i have seeen MANY people try to get stefan to give them exp by just making up a huge crock of sh*t.

that really offsets gk and I think that all restorations should end..unless it is a known problem, like the create missile scroll that reset numerous people.

I'm fine with this, I've died many times from disconnection, I have a very good internet connection and a good computer, yet it happens, I blame the european server... Yet I've managed to get my things back (or nearly there...) despite my lazyness... sadly... I won't be here for the next month or so, that stupid pay pal thing needs a credit card statement... so I guess this is my goodye for now post... (like anyone cares...)

Hes like FAQ master, i told him i didnt now how to make breads, and he showed me how to rofl.

I agree... these idiots are like
"I WORKED FOR FIVE TRILLION MONTHS TO GET TO LEVEL 60 AND SOME PKER KILLED ME AND I DEMAND A RESTORE!"

If those people get restores then I think that everyone should get the /create command. There is no point in even having a system if people will just abuse it and think they can get a restoration every time something bad happens.

I thought GK was in America? o.o

Well, you should know by now.. thats part of the job (not in the description, but you know what I mean). You shouldn't just ignore the people, answering questions *should* help reduce the amount of questions you get over time, and if you just answer in the first place, you won't get "please answer, just a yes or no" .. etc and THEN the other questions :P
You probably were answering them in the beginning, right, but it probably just got old fast? lol

Im waiting for a resotre to....I was killed my Shrimp in a event held by Koni and i died and lsot exp and told Koni and he did nothing then i told stefan online that i gave him a forum pm about it and i gave him the jist and he said "Ill be checking them later"

Do like I did. Every time he comes on, ask him if he will. It might be annoying as hell for him, but eventually you will get fixed. Or banned, but i doubt that :P
