Don't know, don't care.

there really is no correct spelling, but "saiyajin" is usually thought of as the full, proper name, but it's shortened to "saiyan"

the correct spelling is Saiya-Jin (with or without the -) and the *eeerg* dubbed version is saiyan:(

And yes the original anime/jap spelling is Saiyajin but the stupid english cut it up and called it Saiyan cause they had no idea how to say Saiyajin when converting it to english, hahahaha

I still think saiya-jin sounds more professional.
