Two whole minutes....

I managed to stay on 2002 for two whole minutes before my Graal crashed.
Thats got to be an improvement.
By the time my account runs out I might be able to stay on for *gasp* 3 minutes!

:(

Help. Someone. Anyone. Yes, even you.

I have tried:
-Updating drivers
-Cleaning registry
-Reinstalling Windows
-Changing my VGA card preferences
-Reinstalling Graal
-Changing Graal options

But it just keeps on crashing.

Well then it's probably your computer itself.. or unless you have a 56k maybe your ISP

TheFrozenFiend 12-07-2002 05:13 AM

I dont have a 56K. I have a cable modem.

All my other games and software work.

Its just Graal. :\

Hmmm After 2 minutes of playing normally?
Is the offline version working, are other servers working, do you have rev7, have you updated the sound card drivers?

Yep. Just walking around randomly and suddenly it crashes.

Im trying DD now so Ill let you know in 5 mins. Hasnt crashed yet, but I havent moved much yet.

Yep, I use on-board sound and the drivers are up to date.

Yep, I have rev 7.

"Whats your comp specs?"

Athlon XP 2000+ CPU
Asus A7V333 Mobo
GF4 Ti4600 VGA Card
512MB DDR PC2700 RAM

TheFrozenFiend 12-08-2002 02:48 AM

Hmmm...hasnt crashed.

Im thinking its just 2002 then.

Hmmm I hope you have installed good drivers for the gfx card? The drivers that come with Windows are very buggy, especially in 3D mode (light effects). You are even crashing when disabling light effects, moving all sound sliders down to 0?

One computer in the office is crashing when using the latest drivers for the sound card, don't know if the programmers of the drivers are sometimes not testing stuff ;)

lol.

I can live without sound anyway. I listen to MP3s most of the time.

It didnt crash a single time last night so it definitely works. So thanks again.
