Dungeon 3

Theme
Ice Cavern

Location
Mountain, maybe a part of main island mountain that has snow and fog effects

Enemies
Hievils
Ice Bomies
Ice Runes?
Yietties as bosses?

Challanges
Maybe having to walk accross a iced over area, with strong and weak ice that looks slightly different. I guess stepping on weak ice makes you fall through.

Prizes
Perhaps some of the ingrediants to make items that aren't on the server. Like an eyeball or regular helmet etc.

NOOOO!

No more!
Im tired of having BOSSES.
Why cant we have a BIG boss 1 single boss, and when it dies it drops a key and the chest is right onback of it, then you loot the treasure.

Show me the realism in the same treasure chest being looted by every player on the server.

I never liked that aspect of Classic; it makes NO sense.

Realism is not an issue.
This is a game.
It doesn't have to be real.

Selzar 12-01-2002 02:56 PM

=/

if we make this real then alot of stuff would be removed...
potatoes attacking, mushrooms, rabbits.
Were not aiming for realism were aiming for a fun game.

THAT'S NOT MY POINT.

Look, Graal has its own realism, but just the fact that some treasure chest is constantly opened and always has the same thing for everybody bothers me. JUST A BIT.

I'm in a bad mood.

Selzar 12-01-2002 06:05 PM

o.o

Of course it would be random.

Maybe 1/4 times you use key on chest it would give the treasure
the 3/4 would be like some plats.

Ghost Pirate 12-01-2002 06:15 PM

Players with mutiple accounts can just walts in kill the boss with main account and give out keys to his other accounts and stack up on all the treasures...then you have the whole restart issue.

BlKnight 12-01-2002 09:10 PM

Well if people have payed for mutliple accoutns I guess they deserve to do that......

Anyways what do you think of an ice cavern dungeon?

No, they don't. Some people haven't even payed for multiple accounts; they are just fortunate to have more then one (perhaps a friend left Graal and gave it to you).

Just the same; one's fortune IRL should not affect their fortune in Graal.

BlKnight 12-02-2002 04:35 AM

Why not? Rich people can just buy items:)

Rich in life. Just like in "Ever Quest", people pay thousands for high level accounts. It's pretty sucky but there's nothing anyone can do about it. Although you'd have to be either crazy or just rich, but still it seems unfair to people that have to work hard for things.

Of course, you could also just play until you had a super high level character, and once you're tired of playing, sell off your character and make back all the money you spent each month playing plus some profit. :D

BlKnight 12-02-2002 07:32 AM

Well:

Player A may have to kill baddies for an hour to afford Weapon C.

Player B needs to work at his job for an hour to buy Weapon C from player A.

All is work.

BoneCrusher2 12-03-2002 05:23 AM

were talking bout kids they dont do nuttin all day then they spend daddys money and buy all kinda things.....not hard working people...because if kids have there on job they wouldnt waste it on a gamse if so there idiots......buyibg a game to play is not what i mean buyign things in the game....

Tyhm 12-03-2002 10:23 PM

Why do Dievils carry keys anyway?
Why do they drop hands when they're all feet?
Why do strange keys appear when rooms are cleared?

It's a game. I dig that as an online game chests are a bit weird, but it would be hypothetically possible to have a chest from which everyone is entitled to take something only once. Why not, we've already established the existance of magic.

It'd make more sense if Yetis were big, mean, hard to kill, and didn't give a great deal of experience (to keep hunters from taking too much of an interest) and, if you don't have the weapon/armor/whatnot dropped by them/if you don't have the flag indicating that you already picked yours up at one point, when you kill one it drops a weapon/armor/whatnot, possibly locally.

That or they just randomly drop massively powerful upgrades that hunters can sell at market to weakling newbie miners.

Heh, just tell me that the chest is magically enchanted to open once for each person .. and I'll be satisfied.

Explain all non-realism with a magical enchantment. :p

Like Bonney said, a lot of these people are just blowing their parents money, not their own. So it's more like this:

Player A may have to kill baddies for an hour to afford Weapon C.

Player B needs to bug parents for five minutes to buy Weapon C from player A.

So, there's the reality of it, in most situations .. unfortunately. :whatever:
