Complaining, yes, but I don't want to give up on Graal.

Will this thing with death and experience loss ever be changed? I hate the current system. Maybe it's good for those at very high levels, but for people such as myself (I've been stuck at level four for a long time now) .. it's not good. Yeah, I know I can go on peaceful mode, but you get less experience, and chances are that I'll die anyway..

What happens to me .. I get to level five, whoopie, I start to fight a bit, and then I get killed .. it's happened a few times already. I come on Graal, and I actually begin to enjoy myself .. but it's now to the point that as soon as I die, I quit, and I don't return for a while... gah... I really hate death, I think the system on it needs to be changed .. why can't you just turn into a ghost? I think that..

1. It's more realistic than suddenly warping to the dungeon, bed, or dock you were at last
2. It makes death non-desirable (you'd have to pray for resurrection) but less .. annoying

Hmm .. on that note .. why can't everyone pray? Maybe only those with piety can get spells, weapons, et cetera from gods (spells including spellbooks from stores), but I think that all players should be able to pray for possession, restoration, and resurrection. It's only fair, and it's a heck of a lot more realistic, no? I don't see why you need to study to learn how to say "Brigid, I pray to you for aid" .. OH GEE that's a toughie to say... yeah, you can tell me you need special incantations or what not, but that is crazy .. you need to know special words just to show a god you like them? :whatever:

I suppose I should have put this in the Suggestions forum, but I don't feel like putting it over there. Again, this is AMAZINGLY POINTLESS .. because I know it won't be added .. the only thing I've ever seen added that I suggested was the Pentagram Carpet. That's cool that they made it, but it's really not a big deal, unfortunately... :\

Praying scroll is only half the prize of inscription (pen). Death should be non-desirable, so you are more motivated to prevent deaths :)
