I dropped my create bomb spell in the haunted house to show it to Patrick, and it just disappeared o.o I didnt want to try to learn it till I gained one more magic level. AND NOW ITS GONE :(

Anything can be double clicked, like food, items, etc...
Sometimes you are able to apply them. So, yes, he learned it.
