The new Q menu

The new transparent Q menu has to go... each time I open it like maybe if I open it 4 times it says Graal is running out of recources turn of Direct 3D lights might help...
the old Q menu was better it didnt lag when you opened it either and it was good the way it is...frankly i think the new one is messing up some of the graphics for spells if u open it and ur casting a spell it will make it choppy

I'm sorry we all don't have an ssj 43524 graphics card that you spend ten times as much as the ordinary Joe, which will probably never use the highly overrated capabilities it has, or the extra 3251 ram because "ohno I can only open 4345 programs instead of 9328#$@%." Please, get a life

I personally like the new transparent q menu, but if it causes problems then you should be able to change it

JrTerrorist 11-15-2002 01:24 PM

I have a crap VG Card and the menu runs fine for me.

Your connection has nothing to do with the performance of your PC. ^____^

I have a horribly old computer (1998) which runs off of PC100 RAM, and the transparent Q menu is fine for me.

CheeToS2 11-15-2002 06:36 PM

the transparent menu is messed up for me.. when I hold Q down, some of the words switch back and forth between whether they're drawn in front or in back of the background image.. its very annoying :\

zell12 11-15-2002 06:54 PM

I got a normal Video Card, thing its a VG or something around the lines of them 1988 ones for a Pent 2 with 53MB and 9 GB of space. Thats all my computer got and I don't lag that much. o.o

I doubt he has a 3ghz CPU, since the only CPU released with such a speed is the 3.06ghz Pentium 4, which just came out onto the market yesterday. ^__^

"64bit video card" ain't so great.

Anyways, try tweaking your system or upgrading DirectX. Honestly, man, it's a problen on your end, not Graal's.

Ghost Pirate 11-15-2002 10:48 PM

Its due to Nvidia GFX cards, accord to stefan

zell12 11-16-2002 03:00 AM

You could of gotten a 3ghz computer with the older version of the pent IV. Alot of coolant and some more juice in the processor. :D

Yeah, a 2.4A+ with liquid nitrogen.

zell12 11-16-2002 03:31 AM

I saw a computer with a GForce IV and it needed coolant tubes running through it.

Not because of the video card, I'll give you that much.

GeForce 4, by the way.

aylad 11-16-2002 05:44 AM

NVidia

I happen to have an NVidia gfx card, it has virtually no problem with lighteffects or transparency. Sometimes if my computer has already popped an error or two in my direction, the lights won't load... but all that requires is a restart.

Are you sure your drivers are the very latest?
