What port does graal run on?
 

My ISP's VP is wondering what port Graal use used on as a default. I think he means the client. Anyone know?

14901 I think.
2k1 is running on 14920 for me right now x.x

General port is what? x.x

I think my ISP needs the UDP and TCP port.

open the ms-dos prompt & type "netstat -a" while on graal..
look for the ones where the port is in the 14000s :P

It won't ping, I don't get replys remember? Its not worth the try for me.

i don't think there is an actual set port, i think its a range in the 14000s x.x
i just got on npulse, and its 14007.. sooo yeah (2k1 was 14020)

netstat tells you what connections you currently have running, I don't believe pinging is necessary to do it.

Perhaps some hackers still have that list of all PW servers' ports and IPs I made back when we didn't have server list in RC?

They cannot do crap to them now because stefan made it so we cannot ping the servers... Mabey thats why when we get disconnected it takes a long time for us to actually leave the game. x.x

Anyway, I gave him 14988.

you couldn't have been more wrong, there are other ways to send data to servers and overload/stop them from responding, I think linux has something that's like having over 1 million people ping the server at once (forgot what it was called)

Do the used fixed port thing in the options, and use 14988, since that's what they're allowing, problem solved :D

UDP: you can set a fixed port in the graal option, by default its 14899
