We should make it so you could like..
Build diff types of boats

Row Boats
Small Sailing Boats
and the current Ships
Row Boats = 20 Boards
Small Sailers = 30 Boards
Ships = 50 Boards

Is there a point?

I would assume so that you building a simple boat to take just you or you and your friends to an island wouldn't take so long.
As in a rowboat carrys one person and maybe a small boat carries a few.

Rowboat - Holds 1 person and you constantly have to hit S to keep rowing.

Small Sailboat - Holds 3 people.. 2 passengers and 1 sailer.

Ship - ..... ship O.o

Raft = 10 boards, carry 1 person, hit S repeatedly

Rowboat = 20 boards, carry 2 people, hit S repeatedly (if both hit S you go faster), can be taken on board a ship

Canoe = 10 boards + 5 bomy skin, carry 3 people, the two end people can both row, can be drawn up on land and carried (takes 2 to carry it), hit S repeatedly

Small sailboat = 30 or 40 boards, carry 4 people, smooth sailing

Ship = like we have now

Only Ship has cannons. Certain spells may be used to destroy the 4 smaller ones.

I think the time and effort of making all those ships and "improve" an already fine thing is kinda pointless Alyad. Maybe having a canoe or personal rowboat is ok but all those??? err

Hey, I was just on the bandwagon.... :D Yeah, you're right.

Ive already suggested this idea, along with battle cruisers which have more cannons >.<
