Here's a level i made, if anyone is interested in learning me
to make better level (i've read you people need LAT's) Please write that :) Else just rate it |
sure
1show the hole level 2. dont use npc trees. 3. try using other tiles 4.house tile error 5. to plain besides that its nothing special with it rating: 3.5/10 the thing i liked whas how u used grass tiles (that they were sticked together). oh yes i think u should ad a road to that level |

2. Why not? It makes it look more real 3. ???? 4. Where? What could i add to make it special rating......... A road.. its a small house in the woods No roads needed |
2.tree npcs lag it up u dont has to use tree npcs to put them on other trees
3.at the tileset ofcorse read at the stickys here. 4. ;) if u looked u would see it |
4.. no honestly....... where.....
|
Hmm...
It need more colours in the grass detail other than GREEN... Try using some flowers or something... The NPC tree is acctually used correctly for once, congratulations. There are two tile errors on the house, see on the second floor part, those two green specks? there are tiles near the far right of the tileset with black specks instead of green, it will look better with those... All in all I really like this level so far! Keep working on it. 7/10 (for now ;) ) |
ohh.. i didnt know there was tiles for that, but now that i know it
we can call it a tile error :) |
You should add... ummm, FLOWERS?
Well, you also need a reason for the little blocks that seem to be covered by grass. They are usually part of an old path of some kind. But there is no pattern of a path there. ;x Hmm, you need more weeds and mabey some swamp :) And the NPC Trees are fine. They allow you to pass by the tree in the back so it looks more realistic. The Full NPC Tree is useful for making a few trees go together :) Raiting: 8/10 Nice level :) |
its not the full tree NPC, just the tree top to make it more realistic so you can pass behind the tree but not through the whole tree :)

I like the level, it's not overly detailed, just enough. The house is plain and simple, but that's what makes it look good. Just change the bottom left and right tiles on the second floors as stated above and it'll be a lot better. I wouldn't add swamp tiles, as there is no real water, so it wouldn't be too swampy/marsh like, in fact I'd just keep it as it is besides a the house. Good job. |
Thanks :)
