Staff/Organization (Actually Worth Reading)
 

Even if you disagree or dislike my posting style this is still worth reading.

I am not sure, and I have no proof, but by using common sense I think it is very safe to say that: A major factor in the speed of new features on 2k2 is that Stefan is required to do both major and minor tasks. And the main factor is personal requests and small tasks being delt with weeks later is the same reason as above. I think it would be much better to have a small yet efficient staff team apart from the gm to do the minor tasks (ie. give back items lost in a bug) so that the major tasks (ie. making a new house building system, adding new items) can be foccused on. My ideas for additional staff postions are below:

Game Master: Self explanatory.

General Game Cordinators (GGC) -2 maximum-: Generally act as a mix of police, faqs, and events teams. Their job includes hosting tournuments, taking bug and hack reports, and answering game based questions (ie. My ___ spell does nothing, should it?). Note: Not expected to perform tasks of standard gps and police (ie. watching trades).

Player Services Administarator (PSA) -1 maximum-: Performs his/her job by providing certain services that Stefan would normally perform as well as a different kind of faq. Can restore accounts after they have been affected by a bug, do all th jobs a accounts admin does but on 2k2 only (change passwords, change emails), and answers non-server based related questions (ie. Can I transfer p2p time?).

Outside Developers (OD) -uncertain-: The people that have been given staff powers for certain reasons (like DragonX for example) but don't have an actual position.

To change passwords and emails, they would need global RC, and we already do that so it is kind of pointless.
