A new exe has been uploaded, it fixes following things:
- initializing of DirectX (should fix black screens and messed up light effects)
- putexplosion2
- chatting doesn't unpause you
- the udp error should only appear when there is a problem with udp now

Before posting bugs here please download the latest Graal version.

My lights are still messed up. :(
Must be my computer.
They only worked again from rev3.
For rev2 they wern't there at all.

I'll get my system specs in a minute. :)

i dont have any background lighting effects now :(

It is still the same as before (attached picture), all light effects and images with the new transparency are just squares with the same width and height as the image file and roughly the same color.
The seteffect thing seems not to work in the level I logged in (mines_a-1.nw) and there are strange borders between some levels. Strangely it was still this level which was messed up even after I reentered the mines and reconnected in another level.
When I leave the level, the sound of the torches stops for a second before it continues, but that may be because of the torches' coding and not of the exe, although I do not remember to have seen that problem before.

And YES, I downloaded rev 3!

Yes, I have a problem, I hate the new training level.

I take it that rev3 isn't exactly what the doctor ordered

*waits for a rev 4*

seteffectmode doesn't seem to do anything when I use it with 0, 1, or 2

is it just me or did that picture look kinda um like somethin

And while we're at it and I remember what's the thing I type in the run part to get my system specs?

Oh, and I also hate walking around like a G2K2 character in offline mode.

Save the level then delete the script that has all the replaceani and setcharprop stuff in it.
That'll fix that problem.

Hehe that will not work, the level is compiled into the exe.

Just start the game correctly in editing mode, by double-clicking on a level file in the windows explorer (file association). Then you will have all the normal settings.

I hate change. That level is also poorly made. I went over towards the end of the map, and everyhting went black x.x

if you dont like walking around as a 2002 char in offline mode go in this level it will make you back to normal as well as a few other goodies ;) its my favorate start level

I've added a link "Graal2002 (Offline)" to my desktop which is automatically opening the level with some of the Classic system NPCs.

Another problem with the updates is that it is using an out-of-date version of the map.png. I don't know how I can give Stefan a nearly up-to-date version...e-mail takes one month or more until he reads it...

Ok.. now my graal is fixed.. but when I open level editor (and training) there;s no tileset.. and everything is black.. and no scripts will fix it

I wonder why people can be so hypicritical(sp?) in situations where a person's password is stolen by a trojan hidden in a file(like a fake game around the time "Graal 3D" was being passed around), but then turn around and download random files from the forums...? :confused:

Ok, who can explain to me why this is happening, and how i can fix it?

Thats what replaceani does, just replace them back by loading a level with that script in it before you do anything offline
