To all people submitting playerworlds
 

Due to "pending changes" with Graal and the PWA, all submitted playerworlds will be placed in a queue, and reviewed after these changes are complete.

What are these pending changes you ask? Well, honestly not even I know all of them. But we will all know within 2 weeks time.

So if you have submitted a playerworld, or are considering submitting very soon, hold onto it, make it better, do whatever you want, because we're not going to touch them until the changes are made.

Anything you heard about the changes in how pw's are conducted and how it'll be in the future. Do not worry. WAIT 2 weeks for the possible new version of graal to be released.

So if I said anything or you heard something. Forget it. because nothing is official and nothing will be official until you see an announcement on the forums or the webpage. Thanks and please disregard any other thoughts or anything you think is "unfair" or "fair" about what you heard with the pw's...It's all voided till something is decided...which could be totally opposite from what you might have heard...

I'm in favor of these changes. Atleast Unixmad got rid of that council, and is making the Classic side of Grawl improvments.

which could be bad news for classic. graal changes its policies way too fast, it's always something new. i can't keep up.

i heard that inorder to get a server up it must be realy good like better then osias and new gfx everything not one regular graal thing is this true??

How can you judge how good oasis is by a few screenshots? Oasis has been way to hyped up... And it's all the players' faults.

no, to get a private playerworld up now you need to have done favors in the past for Stefan. :rolleyes:

That is not all the case here. To get a playerworld up, you need original ideas...a purpose...and good quality staff to atleast make it be worthwhile...

Most playerworlds have all these new this and new that, yet they don't break the top list from old servers like UN, Delteria, Valkorlia, Classic...for the sake that they have been around but some of the levels in the server aren't "top" quality, but it's purely the environment...

Most servers are typical, with the typical storyline, and half the time the storyline dies, when you play the server for xxx amount of time... So really I gave a tip to a new playerworld on making something good, but what everyone has lacked is that people post what they'd like in a server, or what should be back or what should not etc...and no one has taken the time to read those and say "Hey maybe I should compile some of these ideas in my playerworld and make it for the players of old, and new' but thats my 2 cents on it, I know some playerworlds are reverting back to the "old" style of graal, which I await to see how they plan to pull that one off...

Well Gaia was supposed to be better than it was, It was ment to be some good thing that everyone would like, its not popular at all anymore! And they wouldnt set a rule such as

''As good as 'Gaia' ''

They would define the rules sucha s, Custom GFX, Original levels etc... Which if you want your PW to be succesful you should do this anyway (Maybe minus the GFX) but it would all help. The problem is people see a PW, play on it, decide to make one like it as they loved it so much, And on the off chance it gets up people dont like it as its s rip-off. So I dont think a rule would suggest copying another PW. But atleast there should be a rule so PW's are more original or more personal and not follwing the same old styles ever PW may have.

PWA team needs to make it's own policies.
They work, don't screw with them, they're all that works =\

I talked to Nemesis, and it seems as if that we can take playerworld submissions again, but the standards have been raised. I'm going to ask if we have to make new requirements, if not, then the PWA will start taking submissions again.

If you are talking about Tyhm then you might want to hear that he has been next to inactive for some time now.
However, there is still 'someone' who is working. Yes, the last update I did was changing the CC 'Warp' house because I am currently busy with the NPC Server. But once I finished it...you can expect many updates.

Nah he quit a while back. Classic is so big that updates arent noticed too much unless there big ones. But I know everyone is working as much as they can there. Classic happens to be the best Server around.

I know its not classic but its easier that writing ''Graal The Adventure'' every time, And I know it as classic so thats why!

Then you should be LAT Admin if the LAT Admin isnt doing anything. And PM stefan about it with a simple title like

''Classic Staff No Longer Work (I Work There)''

That says it all so he will look, No use being all nice and kind with a subject such as ''Hi/Hey''

Trust me Stefan replies to PMs now, As long as they are important. He may take 2-3days. Logest he took with me was 7, but still.

Tyhm is/was a good LAT Admin, but he'll leave in December. Yes, I'll be the Admin then.
And what's the use of that? :confused:
(Btw: I think the GPs and FAQs are working...it's just the LAT)

That requires the psychic knowledge that Link is the PW guy and knowing his ICQ#, both of which are unlikely to the uninitiated.

The staff page DESPERATELY needs a revision, as in DHTML...it probably still claims I'm the G2K1 NAT Chief, just like the GP regs probably still require GPs to be in uniform, a rule that was abolished almost 2 years ago...
