Ideas about Pets
 

Ok I have some ideas on how we can keep pets alive and whatnot.

1. If a pet is named, it should not be able to be stolen by another person =/

2. There should be a pet barn (or something similar) where you can put your animal in a single-animal pen and have to pay like 1 plat an hour and a keeper feeds/waters it when needed so your pet doesn't die while you aren't online.

3. If you leave a pet to go do something, you should have something like a whistle so you can call it back instead of having to walk around for hours on end just to find your pet.

4. Pets should be able to board boats =/ ( I lost my poor horsie in middle of sea cuz ship glitched :( ))

That's all the ideas I have... feel free to critique (of course you will anyways) on the ideas, maybe you can come up with more ideas or just simply add on to one or more of mine.

Gack... how about 1 silver an hour... 1 plat is too expensive. I like the ideas though.
I was just wondering, do pets have a function? What can they do? Perhaps when you tame the horse (or yoda, or squirrel) and it grows big enough you can sell it to a stable or keep it in a stable in your house, so you can ride it.

I got another one.. You should also be able to rent stables (if the stable idea goes up ) For a certain amount a day/week/month so on

Just make it where you dont have to feed it or anything... and they cant die from hunger or age. But those vital things effect how well the pet does (In mating, Running, etc). So if you feed it then it does better.

well maybe you shouldn't abuse your pet. Love it...don't smack it..sheesh :p

I like the pet system for the most part, and there will be daycares. I just think that pets with names should be _harder_ to steal. Also, pets should still die but it should take longer (about 5 RL hours is a little short, maybe its longer - I'm not sure)
Perhaps make it so pets can dig up tree seeds, etc?
