XD Graal2002 is dying down slowly!

I noticed that on RC Server list, I saw 2K1 and saw 2k2 nowhere (till I scrolled down).

It was cool. :)

lol, my prediction is that it will continue going like that, then 2k2 will release something new and everyone flocks back there for a month or more, and the cycle continues x.x

Actually, for some weird reason, I think the ship'll make it!

2001 is a better concept and system for an rping server. I wouldn't mind having 2k1 upgraded a BIT and switch it with 2002 as for which is the game and which is the kingdom server.

You are wrong. Read the forums more often and you will see the reason why im saything this.

But yes, whenever something new comes out, 2002 is popular for 1-2 days at most. Then slowly decreases.

Maybe if we released new features and additions every 2-3 days we'd have lotsa people, too. :)

You know, it'd be nice to have two really productive Graal Gold Servers. :)

I'm sorry that having 2k1 at the top of the server list makes "your life worth living" :(

I'm a hardcore role-player, it's the only enjoyment I get out of Graal, with my current computer capabilities.

Yeah, I know, I was just thinking about whether to use the knife or the pills, and then I saw 2K1 at the top of the serverlist (Much to Kamuii's dissapointment).

Read the way you were using it and you will understand why. You're insulting people just because they are new to Graal. Just because you think the word means idiot doesn't mean it's okay to classify new players as idiots. Heck, replace it with "idiots" at least you're talking about the right people then.

As long as it's up, kingdoms probably WON'T come back to 2k1. And that's a good thing, as kingdoms were only trouble, if you weren't good enough to make it in (ME)
Now that kingdoms don't exist on 2k1, I also have a chance at my favorite hat (hat 24)
And then 2k2 is a better server for roleplaying. Let the kingdoms do what they want there, people who like kingdoms should be happier there.

Me personally I wish 2k2 would drop to the ground. I dislike it because of the people that play there and the lag. Dont say its my connection because my average speed is 1.5mbps. Also another reason I dislike it is as soon as I come out with a good idea for my playerworld I go on 2k2 a week later what ya know its there and I here people runing around saying "You see the new *insert something here* its so cool" And that will be the idea I just made. If my server is ever released people will scream at me and say I stole 2k2 ideas but really everything on my server was once new and not on 2k2. Go ahead scream at me now for my post I could careless. 2k1 to me is far much better and more fun.

Then, dear friend, get a new computer, because you obviously must be running a Pentium-S or something.

I have a machine from 1998-1999, a Pentium 3 550mhz. And I get absolutely NO lag on 2k1, and I have a slower internet connection than you.

So. As I said.

New computer for yuo.

Notice I said 2k2 also Im sure I have a good enough computer its duel processor with 1024 meg of ram on my comp.

By the way, dual processors will do absolutely jack for you unless you're running a server or applications which require and support dual processors. :)

In my opinion, 2k1 and 2k2 can't be compared. They are two different games, in a sense. Sure, they're rooted in the same thing, but they differ greatly .. and I love the emphasis on RPing that there is on 2k2. It really adds to the environment when more people RP.

At any rate, I've always viewed 2k1 as more of a .. "cartoonish" server. It just doesn't seem very serious, you know? :o

They can easily be compared, what are you talking about?

At one point around the release of 2.16, there were more than 50 people on Graal2001... because Graal2002 wasn't up. :p

I was running on a 366 mhz with 4mb graphics card and 64 megs of ram, and I did not lag horifically on 2k2.

Now I run a 2.53 ghz with 512 megs of ram and 64 mb video card and it's godly.

Hell, there used to be over 150 people during hat restocks, and it wasn't uncommon to get 80-100 at peak times.
