Bring Back Zurk?
 

I was banned on 7/20/02 (CURENT DATE IS 10/02/02) So it's been about two months and almost three. I have been trying to contact many people (Which include, 2k1 Admins, 2k1 Manager, Accounts Admin) and all say that they can do nothing... onl the Manager can. But the Manager just ignores my requests for some reason.

What I did was a minor assault against the laws of 2k1. There are people who have commited crimes far harsher then I and they have only had a week of suspension.

I was banned for cheating... Breaking the Rules. But here is a question for you, What's the differnce from what I did (AKA Breaking the Rules) and what Scammers do (Scam (AKA Breaking the rules))? Shouldn't scammers and such get banned also? Because I mean breaking the rules is breaking the rules.

And noone needs to go "Well Murder's Punishment is more Harsh than stealing"... Well that's real life, this is Graal.

No... I did it by myself... Made sure there was noone else to see except Jourdan and Aftershock I believe. I cant remember the police... but I made sure those were the only two. Noone would've known about it if Geno went on the forums babbing about it X_x... I was getting trails by the admins each day and getting punishments... then Alk read a post and banned me.

Eh, I was there, and so was Cheetos -_-

If it's what I'm thinking of 3 months sounds a bit harsh compared to the time other people have been banned for similar offences.

Get Alk to talk to someone so they can find out the exact story and then they can decide wherter you should remain banned or not.

EVERY single time it's that. I've tried sending contacts into 2k1 to talk to the manager and I always get a "I'm busy" and ****. So you know what... I've just quit trying to contact through person and I'm going to contact through forum.

Zurk is a good guy yes I have disagreed with him but he would never abuse his staff powers purposely. hes not corrupt k?

I know why Zurkiba was banned. It had nothing to do with me. :-\

And the person who used a trainer to get back into zormite after THT deleted it was Nappa, not Zurkiba. And Nappa was banned for that.

As for Zurkiba, he confessed to what he did, and to my knowledge agreed to not do it again, and therefore was not banned on the spot. However, Geno made a post related to it, and then Alkaren came on and banned Zurkiba personally. Perhaps I'll jog your memories, perhaps, not, but CheeToS was demoted (which it turned out that alk wasn't supposed to have done so anyway) for not banning Zurkiba.

well he says hes been banned for a few months now so he should be let back on he didnt do anything to anyone else so it shouldnt be that harsh

the only reason i made a post about it zurk is becuase you are a ****ing *****, who the hell would hack apples with a trainer becuase your "Going Crazy" and you were Police, i am not going to trust you with my trades and stuff if you might use a trainer or steal my hats, the only thing i did not mean to do was get CheeToS demoted :'[

Eh, I distinctly remember being there. I was there and I was like "WTF", and then I PM'd Cheetos and he warped there, and then Jourdan and some other people showed up, and then you disconnected, and like, the next day I come on the forums and find out you were banned and Cheetos was demoted.

I can't ignore someone who hasn't even attempted to contact me. Sorry, Zurk, but you have NOT talked to the Manager.

Yes I was Police... I'm sorry for that. But I did it in a controled enviroment. You just happened to be in one of the pre trails.

No... you dont remember anything at that time. At first you thought I hacked into Zormite... then you say you was the first person there. You weren't even around. Believe me. Only two people saw me.

I have contacted you... countless times. Along with Rabid.

I was indeed there, I said something along the lines of "I'm going to tell Cheetos" and then you said something like "I don't care, he knows I do this all the time".

I was there... Aftershock told me to warp, so I did and BA-BING.
Then Cheetos got demoted. :(

No... none of that has happened.

I know that you didn't know he did it all the time.

No I didn't... Dude you need to stop making rumors up. That was the first time I've ever done anything like that. Plus I'd never put any body else into my convictions (I guess?) or when I get into trouble.

There's no leniency for "hackers/trainer users."
Scamming isn't as bad as using a trainer, but scammers usually get punished with a jail and not a permanent ban.

I see no reason for you to be unbanned. You did what you did, and Alkaren did what was needed to be done.

We on Npulse permanent ban all hackers period, no matter how small it is , You hack you lose the right to play Npulse forever , this has not or will not change as long as Moonie and I are Managers.We don't feel sorry for anyone who hacks, the server rules are very exact on that issue. If you hacked 2001 I personally think you should stay banned, there is no excuse for hacking this game...

Don't talk to me about local bans, I don't handle that. Don't expect me to memorize every servers rules so I know how long to ban and stuff. You should be banned for life for hacking, and I think most people will agree with me.

And you hacked while staff? Ugh...

Hate to be devil's advocate, but there is a very, very large difference between HACKING and Using a Trainer.

And inside the category "Using a Trainer", there are two things within that, harmful uses, and uses that don't harm people, but still shouldn't be done anyway, because it's unfair.

Zurkiba fell into the Trainer user category, and the not harming people subcategory. And if I recall correctly, he was not "caught", per se, but confessed it himself, and for anything further about that you would have to talk to Zurkiba or CheeToS.

I consider trainer using and hacking alike. Basically, Zurkiba wasn't smart enough to hack, so he decided to use a trainer while he was Police.

They both shouold be ban for life.

I came on near the end of the whole ordeal, the people who were online at the time probably know more than I do.

That makes it all the worse and simply causes his case to deteriorate. :\

What's the differnce though? You put them in jail so they will 'change' their ways.. do they? Some do, most dont. I broke the rules, they break the rules. To me I dont see a differnce.

There is one major differnce between what I did and what Scammers do. I didn't bring down costumer support, scammers do. There are many who leave because of scammers. Did anyone leave because of me?... No.

So what I did, didn't harm the server in anyway. Didn't harm the players who play the server... and I was truthful in what I did. I admit what I did broke the rules... That is why I wanted my ban term. But not if it's for life. But scammers hurt the economics of the server, run players off, and hurt the players. Scammers cause MORE problems on the server then I have or ever will.

That incodent was my FIRST crime against the server of 2k1... and Graal all together. You dont believe I've changed? Contact me on AIM: Zurkiba . Or ask some others.

You were Police. You OBVIOUSLY knew that trainer using/hacking wasn't allowed.

Well, let's see:
Editing the functions of the Graal.exe and stuff like that isn't allowed ON ANY SERVER,
and Scamming is considered a minor offense, especially "Police" are able to prevent+correct it. They can't prevent people like Zurkiba from using trainers (even once.)


You basically supported those who feel the need to exploit every external bug in the game's exe.
Scammers don't do this.


Yes, you did. I don't think it makes the players feel any better knowing that they have corruption on the police force, corruption that uses trainers and such. It's very similar to real life: People on the Police Force use drugs or something, instead of enforcing the no-drug policies, whatever they are.
You're like a figure who is supposed to "show" people how to act.

Rules stand, regardless of whether or not you changed. I'm not going to be the one to unban you.
