Talisman?

I have long wondered over the purpose of the talisman, does it give you the ability to use magic?

Yes, when you wear it, it gives you 'wizardry' skill enabling you the ability to use magic.

It sounds like what we alchemists start with..... basically you wear it to use magic skills but if you use a non-magic skill (like /use_skill alchemy rather than /cast alchemy) it un-wields. I think mine is wielded automatically when I type /cast something.

Final question, now that I am a warrior/mage/priest does anyone know any lv1 priest spells that need only 5 grace? I'm going with burning hands for a starting mage spell.

As a priest, you can cast spells that go above your grace limit, but when you do that, your god must grant your prayer to cast the spell. If you have enough grace, then you will cast it without a problem.

I'm lv5 now with 20 grace x.x But I need a sorc spell now...
