movement bug (again)
 

Ok, a while back I mentioned a bug where sometimes my character will start moving in one direction and won't stop. If I hold the opposite direction, he will not actually go anywhere, but the movement gani keeps playing, and when I release he starts moving again.

This seems to happen mainly when I use two direction keys at once. It has been a problem with multiple versions of Graal, all servers, and two different computers. It happens on offline levels also, so it's not a lag issue.

Tyhm gave me what I thought was a solution: he said press the direction I am moving and release the key, it will make the computer realize I'm not actually doing a "keydown" thing anymore. That has worked once or twice but almost never has any effect. Sorry Tyhm. So I'd like to see this bug worked out...

getting stuck in one direction (usually the right key, but sometimes does any old thing it wands to :D ) happens to me EVERY DAY.. its really annoying, tseng and micro have seen it happen to me a ton.. lol

The way I fix it most of the time is by holding the key i'm moving in down a few seconds, and if that fails, i just start typing gibberish into the chatbox, using letters from all around the keyboard, not just the ones close to my finger :eek:

Then it usually stops.. if all else fails, restart graal, just wait a while and wait for a miracle, etc.

Forgot to mention, I can't just restart Graal - I have to restart my computer. Yup, the whole blasted thing.

press F1, go to General go to Controls and disable joystick support.

Its beyond that, I have it disabled and it still happens.
